Because she was told twice that the choice was not an option, but she still defied the Scorpions, who have been shown to be a bit...off. So she basically looks like a stubborn idiot who directly caused Doc's death, instead of a victim.
Oh, and since her and Felix told the Scorpions that Shanty sent them, she is essentially the reason everyone was killed and burned.
It's almost as if I planned it that way...

I don't see why anyone would hate her for that.
I can see the other characters probably blaming her for Little Doc's death, and saying they should have killed X instead of of saying no.
