Shayle stepped into the med-bay cautiously, looking around to find Buckler and walking to his bedside. "Hey Buckler."

*looks up* Hey, Shayle. What was with those explosions earlier?

"I think we got shot at," she replied. "Not sure who it was though."

((Gonna walk my dogs, be back in 5-10))

*sighs and facehooves*...I swear to Celestia, I do not want us to get shot down again...And I was unconscious the last time!

"Yeah, I just want to get this over with," Shayle agreed, shaking her head slowly.

The sooner, the better...I've had enough of this "adventure". *fidgets around with blanket*

"Yeah, I'm ready to go home." After a few seconds Shayle grinned. "Are you feeling any better?"

(( Hmph. I have to run for the night - Quadratics test tomorrow and all the jazz. But I don't want to leave you guys hanging... ))

After a half-an-hour of explosions, the crew manages to take down the most threatening of the AA cannons, and Hammer brings the airship to land near one of the destroyed ones.

"Alright folks, down in the hull Emperor Hana has provided us with the best armor, weapons, potions, and ammunitions the Japonese army can spare. They're just rentals, but they should do nicely against whatever the NCR has to throw at us."

(( So upgrade all your weapons to military grade grenade rifles, armor piercing rounds, etc. This is all only for this fight, and the enemies here will be mighty tough, so don't be skimpy on picking stuff up -you'll need it. ))

"We'll have to move north from here - we should clear out any surviving soldiers from the emplacements, and from there we'll move into our nostalgic little NCR staging area. That'll be a bigger fight, so brace yourselves. Then it's only a trek through the woods to the palace."

He takes a deep breath, "They didn't see us land - they haven't had time to set a tracker on us and it's far too dark, so I suggest we take an hour or two for a breather."

Yeah and no...My legs feel better, but I've gotta wait for Azure's okay before I can get on my hooves again, and I'm going stir-crazy just sitting around here. And not only that, but-*looks over at Alex*-I'm stuck here with her, being constantly reminded of the state she's in, worrying if she'll ever wake up again...*covers face* I know I gotta be here for her, but if I don't get out of here soon, I'm gonna go crazy...I just can't take it anymore...

Isaac steps into the armory, looking around, "This'll do nicely."

He grabs a S.T.S.G, or Short Term Shield Generator, and attaches it to his chest. The Japonese army didn't have anything designed for a Hippogryph in the way of armor, but he does attack a pair of steel-plated leggings to his back legs. (You know, since that's the pony half).

He then searches through some crates, finding a pair of Unique 5.56 Magnums. He slides these into their hostlers, and makes to leave, before he spots something in the corner. Stepping over, her pulls out a menacing Skull-Mask and tries it on, happy to find it fits perfectly. He slips it into his bag and leaves.

"It'll be okay Buckler, she'll be fine," Shayle told him, placing a comforting hoof on the buck's shoulder. "Do you want me to stay here with you?"

If you could, that'd be great. I really feel bad that I can't be of any help to the group in combat right now. It's my job, after all.

"We all need a break sometimes," Shayle told him. "And the others can handle themselves."

*lies head down in hooves* I guess so. Still, it'd be easier for all of us if there were more hooves on the ground.

((Honestly, I have no idea what Trail would take.
Obviously he'd take armor, I just don't know what kind.
As for weapons, he mostly uses a machete for everythting, he has little experience with firearms and has mostly used pistols at least once or twice.

((yeah, I'm kinda out of this fight, since Azure has her egg, she's not going anywhere, and Harley is just Harley so she doesn't need any weapons or armor.))

"I know," Shayle said sadly, suddenly wondering if staying back was actually a good idea.

Major looked around the armory. She didn't need a new gun, and if she was sniping she didn't need armor at all.

She couldn't find any camouflage either. She figured they hadn't counted on them needing it. What she did find was a slinky, black unitard made of very stange material. It was better than nothing, and it came with a hood.

She pulled it on, but didn't like all the places it squeezed. She told herself it was for the sake of not being seen and pulled up the hood.

She went over to a full length mirror and looked at herself, and what she saw was... not much. The material wasn't black anymore, and it wasn't invisible. She moved her head a little to either side and watched as the blurry colors shifted to somewhat match what was behind her.

She pulled down the hood and the material turned black again. She flipped the hood up and down a few more times to make sure it wasn't some fluke.

She smiled to herself. She was practically invisible.

She kept the hood down and searched for any other cool toys. All she found was some armor piercing ammo for her rifle.

She stepped into the armory she was confident her parents weapon would carry her through the upcoming battle so she trotted past them and towards the ammo.

She loaded down her saddlebags with what appeared to be Armor piercing 5mm ammo.

She walked past most weapons without a second glance, But eventually something caught her eye. Normally she wasn't a fan of heavier weaponry but she could make an exception for this. Her lips curled into a smile as she pulled the weapon from it's resting spot on the shelf.

((I commend your reference Guard. I was thinking something made of fabric, but performed like the first version of the SPI.))
