((So, not to break everyone's hopes and dreams for Azure's baby. But I just did a wee bit of lookin, and found that the average gestation period for birds is about 25 days. And it seems that the larger the bird, the longer the time (I lied, penguin wins at 85 days)
Equines on the other hand go for about 11 months.

((Yea, I had no conceptions of either egg hatching this season.))

((and in my great smartness, I failed to remember that the egg is actually LAID with birds...fuck...
so yeah, that's usually about 1-2 days inside and then they lay the egg for the rest of it. Ignore all things I try to say before I finish my coffee ))
