Felix leaped behind Shayle with a 'meep', trying to make himself as small as possible.


Shayle froze, looking at the turrets for a moment before her legs started shaking. Rogue was right...
"W-what?" she asked shakily.

*Outside, at the main gate of the palace, two soldier stand guard in the interior of the wall.*

*Another massive slam is heard, and the main gate shudders.

The two guards step back, just in time to notice the sky darken with storm clouds and feel the wind tearing at them.

Another slam, and the gate begins to crack. The guards can hear growling and roars on the other side of the wall, but strangely, no screams of terror.

One final slam to the great gate and it explodes, revealing a massive Stone golem lumbering forward into the courtyard.

As he clears the hole he made, dozens of timberwolves, firebirds, water elementals, and smaller stone golems rush by it and lightning begins striking all over the castle.

The two poor guards barely had enough time to raise the alarm before they were set upon and torn to shreds.*

*At the same time. Within the palace, in the room that's slowly filling with neurotoxin, the group hears the alarm sound. Seconds later they hear the guards outside the door scream and then fall silent. Suddenly the door bursts open, revealing Willow standing there.*

Well, what are you waiting for, do you want to be killed by deadly gas?
