Kasai is lounging in a large, elaborate chair. "Shayle, how good to see you." She purrs, "I see you brought one of the spies, why only one?"

((She's traitor, because she assisted in killing high ranked traitor and helped group escape, by shooting at NCR troops and drawing their attention to her (at least some of them). And honestly..you making excuses why Rogue will be killed by the end of this 'conversation? -.- ))

The zebra bowed deeply, remaining low while she spoke. "Empress. The others were killed during the fight." She rose slowly. "This one claims they were not spies, and wishes to present their story." Please...please...

((Not killed, just very closely monitored. And I was more or less thinking what a commander would probably take into account. Or at least that's what I would take into account if I was in charge of an army and an enemy combatant just shows up and is so willing to explain themselves.))

Looks at Shayle in concern.

Shayle's eyes went wide, her hooves beginning to shake. "Y-you...you knew?"

((Rogue not talking..because don't want to interfere, until she get a chance/been asked something.))

"Knew what? That Izumi led your brother and friends all the way here? Yes. I knew she would be determined to get back if we left her there - and there was no way your brother would get harmed if she was around. Of course, it took the foalish mare much longer then I had hoped to get him here, but..."

She gets up, circling around Shayle, "I thought you'd be happier - Trotyo is the safest place in all of Japony - what with the civil war, and the foreign war going on, he was about as likely to get hit by a mislead bullet as he could. He'd be safer here..."

She lets her tail run under Shayle's chin, "After all, this IS all for him, is it not? Tell me, did Kenji survive? I'd hate to have to deal with that loose end, too."

Shayle remained silent for a few moments, watching the Empress as she explained. She didn't know what to say. She couldn't tell what Kasai wanted to hear. If she said that Kenji was alive, would she kill him? What was she going to do with her brother and the others?
She looked over to Rogue when she spoke up, glad at least one of them could think of what to say.

She grins, "That's a secret, my not-an-alicorn friend." She laughs, "Oh yes, I know all about your friends, Shayle, I'm very... observant."

She stands next to Rogue, running a long lick along her neck, "So, I won't kill either of you, on one condition, Shayle..."

She turns to look at Shayle, "Bring me the rest of your friends - if you do, you're all in for a treat. If you don't... well..." She smirks, and in a black blur, a figure clothed entirely in black drops down from the ceiling, "How are her friends, anyways?"

"They are currently taking refuge in the lower part of the city, would you like their silence?"

"No, no, of course not." She smirks, "Unless miss Shayle is unwilling to bring them to us..."

The zebra's heart stopped. "I..." She didn't have a choice. Even if she said no, there wouldn't be enough time for her to fight Kasai, her guards, and still make it back before the other Shinigami decended on the others.
"Yes...Empress," she agreed hesitantly, bowing low to the pony and hiding the fear in her eyes.

[Scyto Harmony]

"That's a good little pet - and don't worry, none of you will be harmed, so long as you do what I say." She let's out a shrill little chuckle.

[Katarn]

Remained still, when Empress licked her neck, boiling with anger. That's not how she expected all this to go..not how she expected leader of Japony to act...not at all..
Somewhere from around. "Wicked bitch, ain't she? Сold, calculating, strategist, she beat all of you even before you think of your actions. At least she's worthy of respect ...politicians.."

Shayle's mind whiplashed, and she found herself stuck back in the same vicious cycle as when she was a filly.
She couldn't fight back anymore, she just had to give in again, helpless to what happened.
Her expression flattened, and the zebra rose to stare at Kasai blankly. After a moment, the zebra turned away. "Let's go Rogue," she said calmly.

[Katarn]

Gave angry glare to Empress and turned away, following Shayle.

((I expected it to went 'little' better. I didn't expect Empress to open her wicked nature to Shayle. Not now at least...despite how I hate Empress, I like how you made her, Scyto.))
