Once Shayle was gone, Felix fell to his chest and stared at the street she had disappeared down, wishing she would come back rather than run away again.

Shayle remained silent for a moment, amazed and glad that Kenji hadn't seen what happened to his sister. Hesitantly, she shook her head. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
