((ahem not to be a dick or anything, but I feel the need to vent my narcissism. Camo, Red wasn't the first earth pony Shayle met. That would be Tony Steve, whom she met after the unicorns, Pegasus, hypogryph, and winged unicorn, but before the deer and AI. So yeah I know that happened several pages ago, but I just caught up and couldn't force the thought from my mind. Also the zebras haven't met Roxxie yet I believe, if you are looking for more cardiac destabilizers))

I also noticed something, we've got five orphans in the group and three of them had pretty awful fathers.

*Reaches the clinic* Oh yea, Shayle, just as a quick heads up, one of the other doctors in right now is a ghoul, and the head nurse is a cyber-dog.

((But they aren't in the clinic, Sakura stopped then just outside so she could warn Shayle. ))

"A ghoul? Isn't that unsafe to have in a clinic?" Shayle asked skeptically, unsure why a pony who is supposedly a rotting corpse would be allowed near the sick and injured. "And what is a cyberdog?" she added.

((Kura, took Shayle to see Crys, Felix is with Red visiting War, while Isaac, Azure, and Alex are baby sitting Olive. Oh, and Buckler is at Moody's shop with Moodstone.))

Not really, she's still sane and healthy, well, for a ghoul. And a cyber dog is like a normal dog, only she's also part robot.
*Leads Shayle into the clinic*

Nova, who's talking to Crys at the time, spots Shayle. "Uh-oh. Shayle, you alright? Did you get hurt? What happened?"

((She noticed Shayle's overly defensive reaction to being flirted with by Red, so she's taking her to talk with Crys))

*Looks over to her daughter and Shayle, dropping her conversation with Nova*
Mom, this is Shayle.
*Nods* Right. I'm guessing...?
*Nods*
I'll go get ready... *Walks off into a back room*

Roxie gets off her bed, walks over to Shayle and sits next to her wagging her tail.

Shayle just stood silently, not wanting to lie to the pony who had given her a place to stay, but not really wanting him to know why she was at the clinic. The other pony, who she assumed must have been Sakura's mother, seemed to pick up on the purpose of the visit rather quickly. The zebra hoped that's what happened anyway.

A strange whirring noise beside her pulled Shayle's attention over to where the cyberdog she had been warned of was sitting. The sight was odd to her, and definitely disconcerting considering what the poor dog must have gone through to be put in such a state, but it's happily wagging tail put her slightly at ease. "Um...hi?" she said nervously, not sure if the dog would react by barking or if it had somehow learned to talk after becoming half robot.

Roxie happily barks and licks Shayle's cheek. She then holds out her paw for a hoof shake.

Smiling slightly, Shayle sat down beside the dog and lifted a hoof to her paw, using the other to scratch behind Roxie's ear.

Nova tilts his head, "Well, you don't look injured or anything. Feeling sick?" He smiles at the interaction with Roxie.

Her tail wags faster, she lays down and rolls on to her back for a belly rub.

Uhh, Mr. Nova, don't you have a new house to set up?

Giggling slightly at Roxie's enjoyment, Shayle moved a hoof to the dog's belly and gently began betting her again, seeming to have forgotten that she was even in a clinic.
