((I suck at TF2 as well but that doesn't stop me from playing.
Though I imagine server hosted chat would be better for me then skype. Skype messes with my ping when I'm in those games.))

Moodstone gets out of bed and makes his way to the workshop. He hears his the others inside but can't bring himself to go inside and and face them just yet. Instead he walks around town.

Despite how many times the question had been asked, the excitement in Felix's answer was not deminished as he replied to Risk. "We were travelling up north and a pony named Nova offered to bring us here." The second question caused a moment of pause for the colt, but he still answered happily. "Why aren't there a lot of other zebras around here?"



Shayle rose an eyebrow to the statement about her age and not knowing 'kung fu', whatever that was supposed to be, regarding Tony with confusion before answering his question. "Nova offered to give us some shelter here for a while." Her voice was flat and without much emotion, having grown slightly annoyed with answering the same question again and again.

*Laughs* Geez, everyone's asking you the same thing, aren't we Shayle? Sorry, but it's not like we see a zebra every day. Only half-zebras.

((Okay, sorry. I'm going to bed. I'll try to wake up as early as possible and spend next night with you here...maybe playing MVM :D Anyway. I planned so Rogue would tell you about her 'encounter' with 'Mare with the mouth' but looks like it won't be now..or will be, but just off-screen.))

"It depends on the zebra," Shayle answered Tony quickly, desperate to get off a topic that might lead her to recount her old life.

The mare turned to Sakura with a questioning look. "Half zebras?"



Felix felt a pang of disappointment in not learning why zebras were uncommon around New Hope, stowing away a mental note to try and figure out why on his own time. After completing his mental task, the colt shook his head quickly in response to Risk. "No, our village was all zebras. I had never seen a pony before we left."

*Nods* Yea. Mav, the town sheriff, as well as Flame Thorn are both half-zebra.

"Huh. So what was your village like? If you don't mind me asking, that is."

Yeah, you said you would teach me how to sew today.

"Well." Felix sat down and placed a hoof on his chin, making a scene of his act to remember his old home's details. "It wasn't as well maintained as this one, but it definitely had good security, better than most I've seen. That tends to happen when your village is owned by the Remnant I guess..."

He thinks for a moment and then nods.
"That's right. A skill everypony should know. And the bases for any kind of clothing repair. From armor to dresses."

The Remnant? I heard of those guys when we get closer to the zebra territory. They know some mean Kung Fu, I tell you what.

"My dad's probably had his fair share of run-ins with the Remnant. It sounds like they may not have kept the village in great shape, but that they at least tried to enforce laws and stuff, right?" His voice is tinged by a hint of optimism.

You've worked on dresses Mr.Blues? When? The mare's in town don't usually dress very ladylike, or the hens for that matter.

Felix smiled and nodded slowly, his face brimming with pride. "Yeah, it was very safe in the village, especially with the soldi-"



A hoof quickly jabbed into Felix's side as Shayle glared down at him.
