"A pony named Nova brought us here, he said we might be able to stay for a while." She stated as simply as possible, without mentioning why he'd picked them up.

"And not really. I'd never even met a pony before leaving my settlement, only heard stories about them." Shayle felt a tad embarassed suddenly that she was apparently acting so strange that it was noticeable, and that she was acting strange at all.



Felix smiles lightly at the show of concern from the pegasus, lifting his gaze back to the pony. "Nova found us in another town and brought us here." Some of his excitement had returned, but he still sounded a bit saddened.



Rogue's confirmation that she wasn't an actual Alicorn slightly put Shayle at ease with her, but she still tried to sneak a glance or two. She could have been lying to calm her down or something, but she was certainly nicer than the zebra had expected.

Really? You came from a whole settlement of zebras? Cool! I've never even met a full zebra before!
Well, then you have nothing to be embarrassed about. Even if you had been around, we're still an... Interesting group, I'd say. *Get a small, mischievous smile* Just wait until you meet my cousins.

She smiles then looks at the two zebra's
"Oh, hello, ya new here? If your not I'm sorry for not recognizin' ya, I don't go out much."

"Yeah, is that wierd?" Felix asked, confused as to why Neon would react in such a surprised manner.



Shayle smiled to the younger pony, Olive, and nodded at his enthusiastic question.
After acknowledging the colt, she turned to each of the others, spending a moment looking at each as they recommended other ponies for her and Felix to meet. A strange sinking feeling in her gut began to make the mare think she was in for a few more surprises than pegasi and not-actually-alicorns.

And just in time to match her suspicion, Sakura introduced Azure. Shayle's heart skipped a beat at the sight of the hippogriff, and the temptation to once again back away slowly rose quickly. However, to avoid the embarrassment of seeming nervous or scared again, she planted her hooves firmly. The zebra swallowed hard, her eyes scanning over the creature before her with wonder and worry. "Um, n-nice to meet you, Azure."

((I just imaged, how it must feel like for Shayle. Some crazy unicorn told her about town and shelter for her and her brother..and now she's surrounded (pretty much) by: pony, pegasi, winged-unicorn, griffin, hippogryph. If suddenly Jacky will be online and bring any deer to this crowd...I'd freak out, if I was in Shayle's place.))

"It's just the Nova's... weird. Nopony really knows that much about him." He shrugs, "Eh, he's probably a nice guy."

"It's nice to meet ya as well, and don't worry about bein' a little nervous, that's normal for pretty much everyone that meets my brother and I."

Suddenly little smirk appears on Rouge's face and she starts acting. "Oooooh~ I'm evil alicorn, I'm here to eat your soul~~" wiggles with her hooves. Then starts laugh. "Okay, seriously, are you hungry? Cuz I am, just got back from my first assignment and have some money to spend, so food is on me. Who's in?"
