((I'm sorry but I just can't bring myself to work with the Legion. I know I've said it before but eventually I just end up walking into the Fort and laying waste. And other then achivements it's not like the game has tried to convince me to work with them either.
-There's the scripted event on the way to Novac when those Legion troops attack that caravan (which is fun to watch if you're lucky to have those three NCR troops spawn at the same time and end up joining with the caravan) that rubs me the wrong way.
-The whole slave thing pisses me off to no end.
-The fact they're buying from the Van Graffs, who want Cass dead, doesn't mesh well with me either.
-The whole slave thing pisses me off.
-The whole Camp Searchlight thing angers me.
-The fact they got the White Legs to attack the New Canaanites.
-The fact they use tribes to do dirty work and then turn on them (Twisted Hairs, White Legs, Great Khans)
-The whole slave thing pisses me off.
-In an unscripted and pure chance event I saw three Legion troops chase down a female prospector, who naturally was trying to get away from them, disarm her(Seriously, they knocked the gun from her hand and took it) and killed her as she was huddled up to a wall in fear.
-And finally.... THE WHOLE SLAVE THING PISSES ME OFF!

As for House, I went with him the first playthrough but since then I go with NCR or Wild Card. I'm sorry Mr. House, but I like the Brotherhood of Steel and you wanting them dead doesn't sit well with me.))

((I'm here. IIRC in Fallout 3, miniguns can often be found on super mutants. Most commonly in that one super mutant outpost right by the pathway leading to the Project Purity sight.))

((I haven't had a chance to completely playthrough the original fallout, but from what I've heard the brotherhood as a whole act more like the outcast in fallout 3 than the ones you find at the citadel. So killing them didn't really bother me all that much.))

((The NCR just didn't sit right with me. I don't know why. Too goody-goody for my liking. And then I started looking deeper. They are severely over-stretched. And surprisingly incompetent. I'd go deeper, but there's so much I could say. Whilst I disagreed with the Legion's methods, Mr House just gave me bad vibes, and Yes Man was annoyingly happy [but I ended up working for/with him the second time through].))

((I'm going with Mr. House right now, but I like Veronica and really wish I didn't have to kill the BoS. I'm gonna go with NCR for my second playthrough, dunno after that.))

(( I have F1 and F2, but I can't play them. I literally can't get more then 10 minutes into the game without getting stuck. Hardest game I've ever played.

Hell, in F2, I can't even get through the temple at the VERY beginning. ))

((Fallout 1 and 2 don't do a very good job of teaching you how to play, but that's what game manuals are for, I got fallout for free a while ago (GOG was giving it away.) and the manual is pretty large.))

((Never played the original but I gathered that much when I played 3. And what I understand the only reason Lyon and those who stayed with him aren't considered the Outcast is due to the fact he did ask the Leader's out West if it was okay to change the mission.

Though that could just be me remembering it wrong.

Different strokes for different folks Magma. I saw how the NCR was over stretched but in the sea of gray that the game throws you in I went for the lighter shade in my eyes. Though if you take the time to get all the towns and New Vegas itself to support the NCR, take out the Fiends, convince the Khans to either help out, leave the area, or join the Followers, as well as get the Followers, Boomers, and the Brotherhood to help out the NCR everything stabilizes. Least that's the jest I got. ))

((I think I just went with the lazy method. Legion pretty much consists of kill X [IIRC, the only Factions you can get to help are the Khans and Boomers, optionally a few of the Vegas factions], fix Caesar's brain tumour [yup, villain sob story, where have I heard those before...], kill more X.))

((Yeah I think it's pretty much canon that Veronica and Cristine where together. If you're playing a female character with Cherchez La Femme can get some more trust building dialogue with Cristine.

Congrats on sneaking out! I haven't done that yet. I tried, but was caught and had to fight. All because I got greedy and there was no Stealth Boys.))

((Yea, the only reason I picked up the gold bars was so I could see how high the numbers were. Not much greed here. :p))

((Good for you. But remember you are talking to the guy who decided to go with the running joke of his character finding nothing but shotglasses and clipboards and picking them up.

Not like the gold bars are all that useful. Even with a low Barter a single one nets over 8000 caps.

Current goal for the game I'm playing. See how much I can do without going into the Strip proper and how much I can get away with before the NCR and Legion reputation reset.))
