Eh, I've never had too much of a problem with the Brotherhood. Yeah a caravan I'd be with would get stopped by them every now and then so they could "liberate" any tech we was carrying but other then that no problem. At all. Of course we'd never try to argue with them if we did have something they decided to take.

Never got a name from any of them but I could have sworn the same group stopped us every time in this one area. If it was they never recognized me.

Wanna hear the full story then? So be it.
I think I should start by saying that I was a member of the Brothrhood of Steel, Scribe from the Order of the Quill, under the command and teaching of Yearn, a unicorn Senior Scribe.
She was an old mare, maybe a little bit crazy, but was a genius. She as also the only one who would pick an puny earth-pony as her apprentice. She said that a glowing target in the forehead was bad for sneaking, and she seldom used her magic.
Her ideas about the true duty of a Stell Ranger always clashed with the Elder's, and we often delayed our jobs to help some wastelanders.Because of that, we always received the worst jobs, in the most dangerous places and with little to none escort, but we always came back.
But one day, we were in a bookstore just outside of Hoofington. She woke me up in the middle of the night, saying that our escort was gone. Not dead, just had abandoned us. And that were a fuckload of crazy raiders just outside the door.
Then she said: "Goodbye, and may the Steel be with you". A flash of her horn and I was 2 blocks away, on the streets, watching the bookstore explode in blue flames. In the morning, our escort was back. They searched the ruins for a while and then were gone again.
I was hiding, so they probably took me for dead too. So I just turned my tail to then and walked away.

Never had a problem with the Brotherhood before, but that's enough to put me into a shooting mood. I think that moonshine has kicked in despite being only one shot.
