It is well established fanon that Derpy and the Doctor are together, and that Derpy's daughter is Dinky.

Then in Sisterhooves social we saw Sparkler competing alongside Dinky in the race, meaning they must be sisters; so Derpy's second daughter is Sparkler.

AND THEN in The Mysterious Mare do Well, we saw Sparkler at a picnic with another filly (Tootsie Flute), who I would assume to be her daughter, meaning that Derpy has a granddaughter...EXPLAIN THIS PLEASE FIM TEAM!!!

This also raises another question...who the crap did Sparkler hook up with? (begins watching old episodes in hopes of seeing Tootsie Flute with a stallion to explain this crap)

Uhm... just 'cause Sparkler was with Tootsie Flute does not mean that they are family. Here's a reasonable explanation:

Derpy's family and Tootsie's family were having a picnic.

Derpy, Dinky, and Tootsie's mom went over to look at something.

Tootsie and Sparkler decided to stay to keep eating.

Dr. Whooves is saving the world working and can't come.

What if Sparkler and Derpy are good friends, and Sparkler offered to take Dinky to the sisterhooves social while she was on her mail route, and being the nice pony she is, AJ allowed them to compete as 'sisters' in the event?
And Sparkler isn't related to Derpy at all...

Well... Sweetie Belle was supposedly competing alongside Applejack... so I guess they don't strictly enforce the sister part.
