Keep an M-16 family rifle clean and it'll consistently hit at 300 meters. Don't keep them clean and lose half your rounds to jams. And for the love of God do NOT fire a blank unless you absolutely have to. Fifty rounds of live ammo is nothing compared to five blank cartridges.

 Wait, an M-16 can fire 5 blanks without misfeeding? You should teach me your secrets.

 It only happened once. Every time before and after that consisted of me shooting once, yelling malfunction about three times afterwords, then cursing loudly and yelling "bang bang" the rest of the day.

Why would that make no sense?

 Because Heavy's a boisterous, bloodthirsty loudmouth (with, as it turns out, a PhD in classical Russian literature) while Big Mac is a quiet, shy and friendly farmer. One can argue that the other team members fit the other ponies, but their large size is all the these two of them have in common

Wow there are a lot of comments about BlackJack. Guys BJ has a generic design, at least from an art stand point.

Black, white and red are popular colors. Even her cutiemark isn't very unique. I just mention this because it may be annoying to the person who drew it.
