It was built with the 85 as the KV-11, the 122 is the KV-9, neither entered service.

Just acquired the B1.

Dear god is the stock version dreadful : slow as hell, the armor isn't that good, and I can't hurt anything with the peewee I'm sporting.

Anyone up for some tier 4 grinding with me ?

So, tell me, how am I supposed to actually play the B1 ? It has been suggested I "learn the enemy tanks weakspots". This suggest being able to maneuver and get close enough to actually have a chance to hit said weakspots with good accuracy. The problem is it's even slower than the AMX 40.

What should I do ?

Goddamn fucking teamkillers.

Asshole with a Ferdinand killed me. I'll note that once again the teamkillers are using German tankdestroyers... as if it was attracting assholes.

Reported him for teamkilling and unsporting conduct : his excuse boiled down to "I don't pay [lol premium accounts] to be on the same team as a fucking ELC". We had 3 arty on our team.

Good thing it was a victory.

By the way, he was fucking useless in that battle and did nothing.

There's a special place in hell for that brand of assholes...

ELC AMX, or how I learned to stop worrying about dying and love scouting

Today has been a string of victories, and I've been consistently doing 300-500 XP encounters.

Gotta love this 90mm gun. And with my crew trained at more than 90% now, it's becoming a really smooth mechanic.

I'm still not sure what kind of tank that is. Given it's a photo taken by a US Marine (it's part of a dump of similar images on derpibooru), and seeing the picture's background, it's probably Afghanistan. This doesn't look like an American tank, so I suppose this is one of the soviet tanks of the Afghan National Army. Wikipedia tells me they have T-55 and T-62. From the few pictures I have seen, it doesn't really look like a T-62.

So is that a T-55 ?

I was gonna say that it looked like a T-54. So I guess T-55. Scratch that, mantlet's too small. Looks more like a T-62.

We actually won a clan wars battle. With only six of us, and one of us drunk. I quote: "I might be three sheets to the wind, but I'll fight with you, until I have so many sheets to the wind I can no longer join the battle."

The body looks like it. On the other hand, I dunno if the picture's perspective, but the turret seems a bit shorter than what we can see here.

Though this would kind of fit with some of the modernized versions, maybe ?

That tank up there is a T-72. Note the shape of the frontal armour, and the smoke grenade launchers. Looks like the Lion of Babylon variant produced by Iraq.

As far as I know, they have left Afghanistan and Iraq with the other peacekeepers, aside from some advisers and trainers. I'm not sure, though.
That picture there isn't a Lion of Babylon, but a T-72M2, but they look similar enough.

There are still many thousands of Marines and Soldiers from dozens of countries in Afghanistan. The real drawdown happens late this year into 2014 mid year.

God fucking dammit. I hate it when my internet box has a fit right at the start of a match.

Somehow I managed to not only survive the match, but also to spot three attacking tanks AND help by this spotting for the defenders to destroy them.

...

I'm sure some asshole will have reported me for boting or some shit like that.
