Upon observation, it is immediately noted that instead of his standard Talon armor, Kage is wearing a traditional Shaman war suit. Also noticeable is that instead of his guns and sword, he is only armed with the staff he had brought out during the first trip to Fried.*

Back with the Blood Queen. We had to run an errand for them, and we're heading back now. You ready to kill Death?

We weren't given a choice. And he had Sweetie Bot and Steve with him. Also, Terra and Crystalane stayed behind... Not sure why, but if anything major happened, they'd be there.
