So. Apparently Somber's Simply Rarity made it onto fimfiction and instafeatured. Also, someone has way too much time and their hands and downvoted everyone. Heh, some are unhappy with the premise since later seasons changed the parentless Rarity, if I'm recalling the story correctly.

And it's still #1 in the feature box. Even with "View Mature" on. :)

Just got knocked down by Onomonopia's Victor Freeze in Equestria fic. Interesting premise, where several Marvel/DC characters (and one Bioshock) get transported to an Equestria and have to deal with some relevant threat. Problem I find with the stories is that the (anti)hero/villain usually is overpowered compareted to the Equestrians to the point where they just provide moral confrontation rather than actual physical combat. Usually comes with the superhero being OP package, as there is Hulk and Supes for examples.

Finished the latest chapter of H'ven Sent. Reading that was like seeing what happens when Blackjack goes easy-mode. Things progress a little too fast for any characters to truly develop. Stilly finding it funny that it touches a lot of plot points parallel to Somber, without ever reading either fic.

Now currently on <a href="http://www.fimfiction.net/story/20514/22/the-stranger-and-her-friend">this</a> wonderful piece of work. A lot of good storybuilding, solid writing of action and dialogue. Goes into Discordian times with Celestia. Haven't seen a spot of Lulu anywhere just yet though.

I think you need to be a little unhinged to write about a setting which is wish fulfillment and cosmic horror, simultaneously, with a major character running on Blue and Orange Morality.

I've been reading their work recently.

Definitely fits the cosmic horror genre, what with the uncontrollable doom of the cast to live out the rest of their life in an electronic personalized utopia.

Latest new story I've read is <a href="http://www.fimfiction.net/story/171911/4/take-two">this</a>. Twi goes back to the beginning and tries to 'fix everything'. Deviations from the original stories. A bit interesting, but definitely don't like the way Twi is a bit more liberal in usage of power. Remember that dragon from <i>Dragonshy</i>. Beats him up, kicks him out, then nicks his hoard.

Once you get past the absolutely cringe-inducing grammar, it's a surprisingly good read

Dun like the Mr. Freeze one though. Too much of a jerk. Also convenient that somepony gets into a suspiciously similar situation as Nora.
Gave up trying to comprehend Kingdom Hearts. Simplified it by just blaming everything on Xenahort. Usually works out.
In the process of practicing prereading for an author I like.

Recently finished "The stranger and her friend" - overall impression is good!, thanks for link. Weak sides - Twily (unnatural cold hearted :/) and some battles; anyway it was wonderfull read in many other aspects.

Btw, who liked "Frendship is optimal" + "Frendhsip is optimal: Always say No" - there third one in this universe: "Frendhsip is optimal: Caelum est conterrens" and it's delivers (guess because author is transhumanist and knows theme).
