Can I ask one of the repairponys for a little help with the mino-tron? I just need to fiz the tergetting talisman and put some weapons on him, so we could have our mobile AA gun.

I'll see what I can do, but I think we need someone more versed in science to help. I'll probably be able to make it get back up and walk if damaged but programing is beyond me.

I miss food that ain't filled to the brim with preservatives. If somepony told me 200 years ago that I'd still be eating cram and snack cakes day in, day out till I bite the dust, I would have laughed in their face. Goddesses, what has Equestria come to? Apart from the Wasteland.

((Which brings up a good point in the FoE universe. Why is the food loaded with preservatives and mostly canned? It's almost like someone was expecting the bombs to drop...or someone,somewhere, is still producing old world food in huge quantities))

Just making sure. Last time I messed with a robot that wasn't basic repairs I had a singed mane and had to take it apart with my bare hooves.

Heh, I'd kill for a fresh apple. Had one years ago, apparently from a Stable they'd kept the farms in it running. Not sure what happened to it though.

Nope. I was just cooped up at base, trying to salvage what I could from that mess Maverick made, maintaining the place, and making sure that no troublemakers with guns decided ransack the base while you were gone.

Well I made a living going from caravan to caravan. Either as an extra gun, a negotiator, or helping out with whatever I could. Most where I learned how to repair guns and the like. Anyways, the caravan I was with that heading to Hoofington was attacked by raiders. Things got hectic and we scattered. Not sure how far I ran but I eventually ran into Guard if you remember.
*turns towards the mino-tron and starts working on it*
And while I like it here with ya'll, if I could go back I'd turn down the trip to here. Oh I've had to deal with raiders before but those ponies where insane even by raider standards. I swear they were eating the dead during the attack.
*he stops for a minute and sighs*
As for why I've been in the caravan line of work for the past few years... had to make a living somehow after my folks where killed.

Not much to the story of how, it's not something I try to remember in detail. We lived in a small place outside of Manehattan, trying to make a living growing a few crops but mostly from trading what we could find or took off the random ghoul or lone raider who attacked us. I was on a supply run, taking things to trade or sell to a caravan that regularly went to Tenpony Tower. I was a day late getting home because I missed them as they passed and had to catch up to them.
*goes back to working on the mino-tron*
I guess either the raiders wised up to that they was losing ponies in the area or was just a random group who saw an easy target. By the time I got back there was nothing left. Well, nothing left that could be of use or to keep me around. I'll spare you from details but at least my folks died together. I guess I should be lucky the raiders didn't stick around nor that I was attacked as I made my way back to where we usually met the caravans at. Stayed there till they came back around and just started following them.
