Flea remained quiet until she was sure she could speak without crying. "I dreamed daddy was wiff us."

"Oh, sweetie, ah'm so sorry."She nuzzles the filly

Shadow looks around for something.

Cherry gives her a comforting smile"Shadow, maybe ya could do somethin' ta help cheer her up."

He nods"yeah, got an idea, just need ta find some music..."

Shadow leads them into the restaurant and looks at the jukebox."That should do just fine."He presses a button and music starts playing.
His shadow looks at Flea, and offers it's hoof.

Flea looked at the shadow curiously for a few moments before slowly extending her hoof.

The shadow takes her hoof and gently sets her down. Once, the filly was on the ground it begins to lead her in a dance.

Flea followed the shadow to the best of her ability, the filly's mood seemed to brighten bit by bit as she played with the shadow.

As the song comes to an end the shadow bows at it's partner and looks at the filly waiting to see if she wants to play.

Flea returns the bow a smile once again on her face having been successfully distracted.

The filly tagged the shadow and ran off a short distance behind one of the tables.

The shadow chases after the filly, it tags her and goes a short distance away.

[Guest]

The filly giggled to herself as she gave chase. Upon reaching the shadow she tagged it and hid under a nearby chair. She giggled a little louder thinking the creature couldn't reach her.

Flea somewhat arrogantly blew a raspberry at the shadow.

The shadow looks filly, then walks off. A few seconds later the shadow shrinks down to the filly's size and taps her shoulder.

"Ohh." Flea groaned sounding defeated. "You win." Flea walked back to Cherry. "Momma, what are we doing today?"

The shadow disappears.

Cherry picks Flea and puts her daughter on her back."Uh, Shadow what are we doin'?"

Shadow shrugs"Maybe leavin' the tower and findin' some work somewhere. Sound good?"

Cherry nods"Sounds good ta me."

[Guest]

Flea nodded and repeated what her mother said. "Where?"

[Guest]

Shadow shrugs"Ah don't know. Maybe some small town, or somethin'. Don't worry we'll find somethin'."

"Then tell them they are wrong." With that Charcoal left Clock, making his way back outside.

[Katarn]

I think I need some distraction from all of this...but what... Novae's gaze fall on trashed gates.
In her mind started forming an idea...
[Repair 26+15=41/46. Success]
...which formed in plan.
"Quiver." Novae looked pegasi in the eyes. "Do you want to be my...forepony?" She grinned.

[Ketchup]

"Uh... for what?"
Quiver looks at her, confused.

[Katarn]

"I'll fix that gate." she pointed at what' left from gates. "And you'll help me." She walked to gates. "You know what forepony do?"

[Ketchup]

"Sorta... what can I do to help?"

Novae quickly figures out a way to fix the gate, but it won't be as strong as it was originally.

[Katarn]

"Just a little help." She grinned. "Just some brute stallion strength."
She moved around the gates, looked through hole. "I guess this scraps can become gates good as new...as new for makeshift gates...sorta."

[Ketchup]

"If you need something really heavy moved, Viktor would be better. You know I'm not very strong."
He says with a shrug.

[Katarn]

"Well, you're strong enough to move with me on your back. That'll be enough." She brushed his mane.
"Let's do this!" Novae pulled her multitool.

She started humming some tune.

CLANG. CLANG.
"The winds of fortune
Don't blow the same"
*incoherent humming*
"I know you wanna hit that

CLANG. CLANG.

[Ketchup]

Quiver begins moving smaller pieces of scrap metal from the blasted gate to where Novae could use them.
"...What are you singing?"

[Katarn]

CLANG. CLANG.
She looks at Quiver and shrugs. "Dunno, just some tune...quite mood rising, playing in my head. And lyrics, just...I have no idea, I just know them." Novae rubbed her chin.

*incoherent humming*
Novae started moving and even hitting according to some inner rhythm.

"Well it winds up
Broken up
Really such a shame"

CLANG. CLANG.

[Ketchup]

"That's the glow."
Quiver says quietly with a smile.

[Katarn]

Novae showed tongue to Quiver.

CLANG. CLANG.

"That's the way it

CLANG. CLANG.

"Looks better, don't you think?" Novae wiped sweat from her face.

[Ketchup]

"Getting better. I just hope it'll hold against anything that might want to get in."

[Katarn]

"Well, I bet it'll hold now anything!" She leaned with one hoof on gates, while standing on her rear legs...her hoof went through gates.
"Or...it need some work to be invested."
