Mira frowned and went back, coming back a moment later with Dinner Bell and 2 other foals.

The armored pegasi all looked at Charcoal, not moving their rifles. The leader stepped forward.
"You and your family may leave. But hurry, the others may not be so merciful," he agreed sternly. "Go, now." He looked over at Searchlight. "But you must stay, traitor. The Master will decide what to do with you."

"Bettew now." she said feeling the potions magic work. She looked up at Cherry. "What about you Chewwy?" She asked in a concerned tone.

"Ah'll live sweetie. Don't worry 'bout me."She smiles

"I...I'm sorry Search. I...I have to save my family. Just...you've been a great friend to me. I'm sorry," Charcoal said sadly to his friend.

He turned to the guard. "Thank you."

"We have to go Miri," Charcoal said, leading the way back downstairs.

Searchlight looked over at Charcoal then back at the ghouls. He let out a sigh and holstered his revolver. "It's alright, take care of them okay." He said to Charcoal as he left.

Mirabelle frowned and followed Charcoal, giving a sorrowful look to Searchlight before going downstairs.

Flea turned her gaze to Shadow. "Shadow?"

Jayne at elevator. "Okay, which floor was it again?"

He says curtly.
"Are you guys coming?"

"H-huh? Where? Oh! Yes!" Novae run to Quiver and Jayne.

"Good job. We just might make a wasteland doctor out of you yet."

As quick as she could Clock stowed the two laser rifles in her bag in place of an smg. Then she took out two nine mil smgs from Viks bag and stowed the armor and helmet in his bag. Then she followed quiver with Vik in tow.

Charcoal led the mare and foals outside, taking cover in a building across the street. "Miri...I'm sorry. I did what I had to," Charcoal said, hating himself more than the ghouls attacking the tower, or even raiders.

"Don't worry, sweetie. Ah've lived through much worse."He stands up and looks at Quiver"Excuse me fer checkin' on my family and makin' sure they're okay."he helps Cherry up and places Flea on her back"Jackass."He mutters under his breath but still loud enough for Quiver to hear.

"Hold yer horse's we're comin'."she winces as she gets up so she can hover and make it a little more comfortable

Shadow helps her walk"Doc, ah got some med-x on me, ya know how long that would help her?"He asks Clock.

Clock looks at the syringe then the pony, "Uuuhh, a while. But her body will burn through it faster if she gets in another fight. If it's broken it needs set."

"Do ya have what ya need ta do that? If it ain't too much trouble, that is."He asks sincerely

[Tytan]

"Sorry. I don't. I've been trying to get my hooves on some stimpaks, but none of the stores I've been to never seem to have them."

"Oh... Thanks anyways, doc."He sighs, then takes the cap off of the needle and turns to Cherry."Okay, Blossom, yer gonna feel a little pinch."

The mare rolls her eyes"Ah've gotten shots before, darlin'."

"Right, course ya have."he puts the syringe in her flank and injects the painkiller.

Cherry sighs in relief"Thanks, love. Ah feel much better now."She smiles

"No problem, darlin'. It's what ah'm here fer. Just, take it easy all right?"He nuzzles her then drinks a small potion.

"Ah will, love."She returns the nuzzle

Shadow glares at Quiver from behind his mask and glasses"Now, we can go."He says icily

"Alright, Cherry. Try to keep your weight off of that until we can work something out. 'Kay?"

[Ketchup]

Quiver sighs and coughs, looking at Shadow.
"I only asked because you hadn't acknowledged me. There's no need to be so aggressive."
He says tiredly.

Cherry gives a little salute"Yes, ma'am. Order received and understood."She smiles

Shadow continues to stare"Whatever, lets just go save the rest of these good fer nothin' fancy ponies and get kicked out of the tower."He says flatly

Clock snorted and saluted back, "Good, now take care of your daughter soldier girl."

"Will do, ma'am."She smiles.

"But your friend... why would you just leave him there?" Mira asked with a scowl.

"Miri...I had to. They would have killed all of us. You, me, all of the foals. I'm sorry. I did what I had to do," Charcoal said softly, unable to look up from the ground.

"We could have at least tried to fight!" she yelled.

"Miri I-" Charcoal stopped mid-sentence. "I'll go back."

[CamoBadger]

"No, you stay here with the babies," she growled. "You already left him there, I'll go help." She took each foal off her back and put them carefully on the ground and started trotting back to the tower.

[Charisma 6 (7+1)]"Absolutely not. Dinner Bell and these foals need you. No one needs me. You stay here for your daughter's sake. It was my decision, and I will suffer for it. Not you. Not her," Charcoal said angrily, catching up to the mare.

"Are you willing to abandon your daughter for that?"

Mirabelle stopped and turned around, looking between Charcoal and Dinner Bell. She growled and shook her head. "Fine, but don't come back until all of those flying rats are dead."

"I won't."

Charcoal let out a whistle.

Scorch swooped down, landing on Charcoal's back. "Squawk?"

"Keep an eye on them."

"Squawk?"

whisper to Scorch:

Scorch nodded solemnly and flew over to the mare and the foals. "Squawk."

"Yeah...luck," Charcoal muttered and made his way back into the building.
