Granted this part of the discussion is over since Camo has spoken, but it hit a nerve for me.

As a person who had to spend a small portion of his early schooling going to speech classes for his speech impediment, I can attest that there are people of all ages out there that have problems pronouncing words with the letter R in them. My impediment wasn't deemed corrected until I was 10, and even then I had to think about what I was saying or else I would slip up.

I know nobody meant offense and I guess since it's not something usually brought up often I couldn't just let it go so sorry if that was a bit hostile.

And once again, it's a bit of a moot point since Camo suggested a character's accent should be noted before they even start talking and everything they say should be typed normally.
