Eve shrugs. "I guess. Didn't really talk to too many ponies. Still don't. And, no, we weren't Enclave. Far from it."

He raises an eyebrow at that. "If you don't mind me asking, what were you?"

"What do you mean?"

[Guest]

He shook his head. "Sorry about that. You said you weren't enclave were you and your friends born down here? Or were you born underground like... Quiver, I think was his name."

"We were born on the surface." Eve pauses as she thinks about the two other options. "I wouldn't have it any other way either."

"I guess there's room to stretch up here." He glances back over at the Eve's mask. "So," He pauses. "Where did you get it?"

[MrMagma]

"What, this?" Eve put a hoof on her mask. "Someone made it."

[Guest]

"Why'd they make it for you?"

[MrMagma]

"Like I said, everyone got one. Just tradition, I suppose."

[Guest]

"Who's tradition?"

[MrMagma]

"Don't know. Someone who happened to live in the same place I did who happens to be dead now. Doesn't really matter." Eve replied with a shake of her head.

"Alright Eve, I get it. You don't have to tell me who the group was if you don't want to. Do you miss them?"

[MrMagma]

Eve nods slowly, the sadness returning to her voice. "Yeah."

Tumble shivers as the discomfort that had faded returns to him. He lifted his hoof and started to put it on her shoulder, but stopped himself thinking he might be overstepping some boundaries. "Can I?"

[MrMagma]

Eve rolled her eyes. "Go right ahead."

[Guest]

He shrugged and put his hoof back on the ground. "What happened to them?"

[MrMagma]

"Nothing, I hope." Eve didn't say any more, and silently wished that Tumble wouldn't press the issue further.

He looks more confused having assumed that her group was dead. "Wh- Why did you leave?"

[MrMagma]

"Can we talk about something else?" She replied, half angry, half sad.

[Guest]

"Sure, if that what you want. Just thought you wanted to share. But, I have to ask. Flower would be upset if she found out I didn't. There's nothing behind the mask is there?"

[MrMagma]

"If I tell, it ruins the surprise."

[Guest]

He nods an agreement. "I guess it does." He sits there quietly as he tosses an idea around. "What are you doing? I mean I haven't really noticed you talking to the others."

[MrMagma]

"Had no reason to talk to them. And after what happened yesterday, I don't want to talk to some of them even more." She shakes her head. "So judgmental. At our cores, we're all the same."

"Do you want to come with us then? I don't think Cherry and Shadow would mind you tagging along. And Flower likes you."

[MrMagma]

Eve shrugs. "Sure, why not. Got a promise to keep with Flower, anyway."

[Guest]

He smiles but it's wiped away as he remembers the Ditzy situation. "We might not be around here too much longer though. So you might buy what you can while you got the chance."

[MrMagma]

"There isn't anything I need to buy. And even if there is, I probably couldn't afford it. Running kinda low on caps."

Mince walks through the town, looking left and right as he searched for his companions.

As he rounds the corner into an alley between two buildings, he spots Viktor resting. "Hey! Hey Viktor!" He trots up.

Viktor glances up at Mince and grunts, acknowledging his existence.

He nods and gets to his hooves. "I'll let Shadow and Cherry know then. You want to come with or do you just want me to tell them?"
