Crusher shakes his head, and backs off a little, making an apolegetic beep indicative that he seems to understand Shadow's situation a little better.

[Tytan]

"Alright." Clock drops 45 caps on the counter as well and follows him.

Shadow takes a deep breath a pockets Barb's knife and holsters his combat knife. He seems to calm down and looks at Crusher"Sorry, ah may have gotten carried away. But that was a lot of rage that's built up these past two years."He cracks his neck and loots five raiders.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal leads the way up to their room from the previous night. "I...uh...how are you going to help?" he asks.

[Aonee]

Crusher nods and makes a neutral tone beep, that the listener may make what they want of it.

[Tytan]

Clock sits on the bed, "It's uh... hard to explain. It's kind of the same spell I use to hack computers, but I just use it on someone. It's a little different experience, but... I think I can use it to help."

[XT Vengeance]

"I don't know Clock...you...you aren't going to like what you find," Charcoal says, his voice full of worry.

[Guest]

Eve goes to loot 4 slavers

[Tytan]

"It's not like that. I don't see anything unless I'm looking for it... that's not right... It's hard to explain."

[XT Vengeance]

"I...alright." Charcoal takes off his bags and unslings his rifle, setting them in the corner. "I...I'm ready."

[Tytan]

Clock takes off her hat and barding. She sits on the bed with her legs crossed. She takes a deep breath, holds it, and exhales slowly, "Okay... Try to be as calm as you can. Try not to think."

[XT Vengeance]

"I...alright. I'll try," Charcoal says, taking his barding off and placing it next to his bags. He then sits down at the foot of the bed and nods at her.

Cherry walks out of the Inn carrying Flower on her back"So, where do ya wanna go, sweetie?"

[Tytan]

Clock takes another deep breath and closes her eyes.

She casts the spell.

When she opens her eyes again she's no longer in the wasteland. She's not even in their room. She's nowhere. All around her are shapes whizzing by. The shapes represent different things. Some are emotions, some are memories, and some are fantasies.

She sees a blue ovoid shape lazily drifting by her. It appears to be a fantasy. She grabs a hold of it and peaks inside. She sees Charcoal, and herself, and...

She lets go of that fantasy and blushes furiously.

Clock looks around some more, trying to find something relevant.

What she doesn't see is the angry red cube flying directly for the back of her head.

Before she knows what's happened the cube has encapsulated her head. She struggles to get it off, but is then mesmerized by what it contains.

She is Charcoal.

Or at least she is a memory of Charcoal.

She sees horrible things.

Bodies, blood, the giggling forms of raiders.

Some of them are holding her down. A few are chewing on her leg. She can feel each of their teeth as they tear chunks of muscle and flesh. She's too shocked to react, but Charcoal is screaming.

One of them holds her head between her legs and looks into her eyes. He says something but it's gibberish to her ears.

He holds a spoon in front of her eyes.

It moves towards her eye.

She screams.

[XT Vengeance]

"Clock!" Charcoal yells, doing his best to shake her out of the memory.

[Tytan]

Clock knocks away his hooves and scrabbles into the corner. Tears are flowing from her eyes and she pulled herself into the fetal position.

[Guest]

"I don't knoooow." Flower was enjoying being out with Cherry and didn't really care where they went. "Not the hole." She added in a fearful tone.

[Guest]

Cherry nuzzles Flower"Don't worry sweetie, ah'd never take ya there ever. Ah promise."She walks around"How's 'bout we just go fer a walk, then we can decide what ta do."She says in a cheery tone.

[XT Vengeance]

Charcoal looks at her, shocked. I knew it...she doesn't want anything to do with me. I shouldn't have let her...No. I have to help her, Charcoal thinks to himself, slowly backing away. He snaps out of it and runs to the mare, holding her in his hooves. "Please...Clock..." he whispers to her. "please forgive me..."

[Scyto Harmony]

Mincemeat is not far away, sitting on the Luggage, holding a Stopwatch in his hoof. He looks like he's trying not to cry.

Cherry notices Mince, she sighs and cautiously goes over to him"H-hey, Mince, ya all right?"She asks nervously, making sure to keep distance between herself and Mince

[Scyto Harmony]

"Hm, what?" He looks up and blinks, quickly storing the watch back in his bags. "Y-Yeah, of course! Just uh..." He shakes his head, "What's up with you Cherry, Flower?" He puts on what is quite possibly the worst fake smile ever to be seen.

[Tytan]

Clock was looking at her hoof. But then she looks at Charcoal as if she's noticing him for the first time.

She looks at him. She sees his hoof, and remember his eye. She realizes that the horror she just witnessed didn't happen to her...

It happened to him.

She throws her hooves around his neck and sobs, "I'm sorry, I'm soooo sorry."

[Guest]

Cherry looks at Mince and sighs"Look, don't lie ta me. What's wrong?"

[XT Vengeance]

"You...you are sorry? For...for what?" he asks.

[Scyto Harmony]

Mince sighs and pulls the Stopwatch back out, opening it and tossing it to Cherry. Inside is a picture of four ponies.

One is obviously a younger Mince, barely in adulthood. Standing next to him is a bright yellow Pegasus with teal coloured mane. In her arms is a sleeping colt that could only have been born a couple of weeks before the photo.

Cherry looks at the stopwatch"Ah take it, it's yer family?"

[Tytan]

Clock struggles to speak around her sobbing, "Because... and you... my eye... you... I'm sorryyhyhyhy!"

"Most of them. I have another child now, I think." He levitates it back, slipping it away. "My Marefriend was really into Gambling, day and night she wasted our money away in one of Friedrichshorfen's Casinos. 'Course, when she couldn't pay the debt, they came a knocking. Kicked the shit out of her, disregarding she was pregnant at the time, and hauled her and my four year old colt away. "

He taps his hooves together, "Told me if I gathered enough money they'd let them go."

At the mention of her eye, Charcoal knew exactly what memory the mare had stumbled into. He thanked his luck that she hadn't found one of the worse ones, as bad as it was. "Clock...it isn't your fault...please, just...stop crying..." he begs her, his voice full of sadness.
