He pulls out the knife he intended to give Shadow, he flips it around and examines every inch of it.

She scrunched up her face trying to get the name to come to her mind. " The one with," She stood up on her hindlegs and dragged a hoof across her belly. "lines gave me the bobs." She sat down. "I don't like them."

"What's a Strawberry? Why only the bestest, most flavorful thin' in the entire world!"She starts to trail off.

"Now ya got'er started." Shadow looks at Flower"Well, what does yer daddy normally give ya, sweetpea."

"It's really rare." She shook her head. "They don't have it here."

"Well, what is it? Maybe we can find it fer ya."

She only shook her head.

Flower looked around nervous she knew she started a conversation she shouldn't have. She leaned against the counter and pointed a hoof at the pegasus mare behind the counter. Her hoof shook at almost a frantic pace. "Ask the lady what she has."

Shadow raises his eyebrow at her change in behavior, but not sure what he should do"Uh, okay."He looks at Cinnamon"Ma'am, what do ya got ta eat?"

"I've got a few things, but not much." the mare replied with a shake of her head.

- 5 snack cakes
- 2 pieces of brahmin meat))

"Well, sweetie, she's got some Brahmin meat, and some snack cakes. Will any of those work?"

His tone is low but his voice is powerful enough to still be heard clearly at its current level. As he sings to himself, more pleasant memories of his home flood his mind. The forced marches. The first time he saw a Tiger tank. The time he left home to join the Heer.

"Which one's," her face scrunched up. "Easier?"

The mare nodded and placed 2 snack cakes on the counter. "I can buy the bat for 30 caps, minus 10 for the two cakes."

"All right, that works, thank ya ma'am."He gives her the bat.

"Thank you," Cinnamon chirped as she hoofed over the two cakes and 20 caps.

Shadow pockets the twenty caps"Always a pleasure doin' business with ya."He takes the snack cakes, and the one in his bags and gives them to Flower"Uh, try these."

She took one of the cakes in her hooves and unwrapped it she gave it a sniff and brought the cake to her mouth a tiny whimper escapes her. The filly shoved the entire cake in her muzzle and chewed it as quick as she possibly could. Flower tried to swallow it but found she couldn't she tried it again and again until she finally got it down.

The filly panted

After a second or two of that she looked up at Shadow. "Mmm." A fake smile spread across her face.

[Guest]

Shadow smiles back"Well, uh, ah'm glad ya like'em. Just keep the rest fer later, ah guess.*Notices her panting*Uh, here, take this if yer thirsty."He gives her a bottle of water.

She happily takes the water in her hooves and quickly slurps down a few gulps. "Chewwy?" she yawns out.
