"Security Vest will be 400 caps."

"400, all right, ah'll take that, and one set of leather armor, Unless ya can add some plates inta my coat."

"If I'm getting the value of caps right, that's pretty steep. I'll take 7."
He places 70 caps on the counter.

"I hope you're only getting one of those for yourself, wouldn't fit too well one on top of the other, but if you still want to try the leather will be 120 caps," the stallion replied but still nodded. "I can add plates in that coat. It'll take a day or two though."

"Alright, here you go." Skippy slid the 7 rounds over the counter in return for the caps.

"Yeah, the vest was fer my my wife, early birthday present. Uh, how much would it be ta add plates ta the coat?"

Quiver walks out and towards the tavern, looking for his companions.

"Depends on which plates you want and how heavy you're okay with it getting. I've got some light plates that will stay light, but don't do much for protection. Or I've got a heavier kind that can take a hit, but would be pretty stiff."

He steps up to Boomstick's counter. "I'm looking for a gun."

"Alright, I'll have it done tomorrow, gonna need to take your jacket though," he said as he pushed the Security Vest over the counter.

"Alright, what are you looking for?" Skippy asked Tumble across the counter.

"Can I take a look at your pistols and rifles?"

"Sure thing, here's what I've got."

Quiver walks into the tavern and up to Novae and Cherry.
"Hello Novae, Cherry. Are either of you interested in going back to the raider camp to look for anything we might have missed?"

He looks over the firearms not finding what he's looking for. "You're friends with Ditzy over at absolutely everything right?"

"Sure am."

"Okay, that sounds fair enough. Do you have any scrap metal?"
Crusher slides over the three items.

"We've actually missed some locked med kits...weren't you hear me yelling about them?"

"Right."the tendrils take off his coat and he winces alittle as he gives it to the shop owner along with 400 caps for the vest"Thanks. Ah'll see ya tomorrow."He walks out of the store and goes to the tavern.

"Sure, Ah'll go with ya."She says to Quiver

"Hey, Blossom, got ya somethin'."

"Again, what is it? And where's yer coat? Ya know what happens"

He gives her the vest"Yeah, ah know. Ah'll be fine fer a day, just gettin' it reinforced."

She takes the vest,"Why, thank ya Shadow. That's really nice of ya."

"Don't mention it. Now, uh, mind if ah wear yer Duster? It'll be better then nothin'."

"Of course dear."She gives him the Duster and she puts on the vest"Very snug, ah love it."She hugs him"Thank ya."

His tendrils put the duster on him"like ah said, don't mention it."

"Yup, I've got some of that," the mare replied as she gave the robot 202 caps for his items. "I've got 5 pieces for 3 caps each."

"Could you give her an order for me?" He puts his sawed off single shotgun on the counter. "The gun I'm looking for looks like a cut down trail carbine." He gestures to the gun on the counter. "It should be just a little larger then this."

[Ketchup]

"I guess I didn't hear you, so I guess my lockpicks will see more use after all."
He turns to Shadow and Cherry.
"That's good Cherry, I hope we'll find something. You should come too, Shadow."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller finishes the introduction of the book. "Damn, that was insightful, better read this a little more a little later." He closes the book and it vanishes in a puff of smoke. "WHAT IN TARTARUS! I didn't even get to read the first chapter."

Shadow looks at the duster"No hood, but it'll do it's job."He looks at Quiver"Of course ah'm goin'. Ah ain't lettin' Blossom go without me."

"Uh...Like a trail carbine with the barrel cut off?" the shopkeeper asked as he scratched his mane.

[Ketchup]

"Well, let's go when everyone is ready."
Quiver walks outside and waits for the others.

Shadow checks his new SMG then smiles"All right, ah'm good."He walks out and sees Painkiller"Doc, we're goin' back fer some medical boxes, wanna come with?"

Cherry follows Shadow"Ya know, yer probably gonna be very uncomfortable, right hun?"

"Ah'll be fine."

"Ooookay, if ya say so..."
