He smiles and at shadow. "That's right." He leads the stallion out of the camp and towards New Appleoosa.

Shadow takes a couple breaths as he follows Tumble"Thanks... It was gettin' bad..."

Satisfied that Painkiller was gone she turns back to the mares. She uses her most friendly voice, "Are you girls okay?"

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller is torn a little, for one he knows the mares are in their right to be frightened of males. On the other hoof, he doesn't know if there might be trouble going their way. Having all these males wouldn't be goodfor the mares even if they are the ones who saved them. then again if trouble shows up, he doesn't want to leave something unprotected.

"No we aren't okay," the only mare who seemed willing to talk growled through her tears.

"No problem Buddy. I was worried about you too y'know?"

[Tytan]

"It's okay. It's over now. They can't hurt you anymore. We're here to help... I'm here to help."

"How can you possibly help? They already-"

Another of the mares, one who looked much younger and beaten badly, stood up. "Mom, stop, s-she's not lying."

"How would you know?" the older mare snapped.

"Because she looks n-nice," the younger pony replied with a frown. "P-please?"

The older mare sighed and nodded. "Okay..."

"Sorry, didn't mean ta. Ah just... Didn't want ta see it again,Didn't want ta see her, again."He says looking down, and shaking slightly. The tendrils in his coat start to get restless.[Perception 9 (10+4)] He takes a look along the highway to New applaloosa trying to clear his mind

Clock cringes a little when she hears the little one call the talking mare 'Mom', "I'm sorry this happened to you. I know it's not easy, but it'll get better... I promise."

The old mare shook her head while the younger two just looked up at Clockwork, not sure if they agreed either.

Tumble gives Shadow a subdued look. "I'm sorry about your sister. That shouldn't happen to anyone."

[Tytan]

Clock speaks quietly, "Trust me... I know." She lifts up the side of her coat, showing them the scars criss-crossing her flank.

All three of the mares frowned at the sight, but seemed to relax slightly at what Clock was suggesting to them.

"I'm sorry," the oldest told her. "I just... I wanted to protect my daughters. They've already... it's been too much."

[Tytan]

"I know. My friends are outside and we'll take you home."

[Guest]

"Ah couldn't help, ah was useless. All ah could do was close my eyes and hope the screamin' stopped..."He looks distant as he stares off, not really paying attention to where he was going"Ah'm sorry, sis, ah'm sorry..."A tear can barely be seen running down from his glasses into his mask, as he continues to mutter 'Ah'm sorry' under his breath.

"We," the mare choked on her words and stopped, taking a deep breath to compose herself. "We don't have one anymore...we were in a travelling caravan on the highway when..."

[Tytan]

Clock gets choked up. "I-I'm sorry. B-believe it or not I-I know what that's like as well. My caravan was a-attacked a few years ago... They're gone."

Clock tries to change the subject, "But you still have each other. Focus on that."

[Guest]

He holds out his hoof out in front of Shadow. "Stop."

"Yeah...yeah we do," the mare replied sadly. She was happy to have her daughters, but everyone else...
"I...I think we'll be okay. We just need to go somewhere safe...thank you," she told Clock one last time before turning to her daughters and making sure they could walk. Both stood shakily, but they could get up. The three trotted out of the tent slowly and made their way toward New Appleloosa.

Clock watches the mares trot off. She steps out of the tent and wipes the tears out of her eyes.

"Stop it." He speaks slowly and clearly making sure shadow took in every word in his current mental state. "You're not useless. You and Cherry have helped me and Flower more than anyother pony."

Shadow takes a deep breath"Ah..Ah guess so. A-*He stops himself, and takes another breath*Right, yer right, ah got this just gotta relax think 'bout other stuff."He pauses for awhile then sighs"Thanks Tumble, ah needed that."A weak smile can be heard in his voice

He gives him a small smile in return and starts to pat his back but stops himself. "You didn't get shot up did you?" "I think I got to return you in the same condition." He adds in a joking tone.

Shadow chuckles then looks over his coat"Uh no, actually. Ah got lucky this time.*Chuckles*Looks like both are hides are saved fer taday.":

He joins Shadow in his chuckle. "Speak for yourself. Did you see my clone? That's the second time their weapon has blown up right in their face. I think-" He pauses. "Someooone is trying to tell me something."
