The remaining roach rounds on Painkiller, charging forward for a second attempt.
[vs Painkiller: 6]The roach's teeth find a mark, biting down on the shovel blade pointlessly.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Painkiller flips the shovel over and stabs at the roach [combat 17] and successfully decapitates it.

[Tytan]

Clock takes the bottle and takes a sip, "I've always just eaten it how it's served."

[CamoBadger]

As the last roach dies, another of the bugs runs around the corner and looks at the two before dashing back down the other tunnel.

[XT Vengeance]

"I'm going to cook it medium-rare. I like it that way, the meat is cooked, but still really juicy. The rum should add a little bit of extra flavor too," he says, smiling at the mare.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Do you think its going for its friends?" Painkiller asks, his jaw having a slight ache from the shovel.

[Katarn]

"I think he might lead us to main prize." Jayne says with half-smile.

[Tytan]

Clock sip some more rum, her cheeks are turning a little red, "Sounds great."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

"Well, better get to it then," Painkiller pauses only to loot the body of the bug he killed

[Luck 7 rolls 4+2=6]

[CamoBadger]

((Painkiller finds:

[Ironmonger]

[Perception 5] In a drunken haze, Cast Iron looks around the town.

[Katarn]

"What do you want there to find? Laser pistol or some gem?" Jay look in at Pain with frown. "Let's go." He follows radroach, looking around.
[Perception 8-2=6]

[XT Vengeance]

"Can i get a drink of that?" Charcoal asks Clock, still keeping an eye on the food.

[CamoBadger]

Cast sees everyone in town going about their business.

[CamoBadger]

Looking down the next tunnel, Jayne sees the first roach dash up the wall. Following the bug up, it joins a cluster of 4 others waiting on the ceiling for the two. At being seen, they screech and drop down around Painkiller and Jayne.

[Tytan]

Clock passes the bottle back, "Here yah go."

[XT Vengeance]

"Thanks." He takes a swig from the bottle, then pours another splash of it on the steak. "I think it is almost done. Maybe a few more minutes," he tells Clock, passing the bottle back.

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

[dodge 3+2=5] "NUTS!" Painkiller calls out

[Tytan]

"It smells good," *swig*, "I've never seen someone put booze in food before."

[Katarn]

[d20 14] Takes a shot at dashing bug.

[XT Vengeance]

"The alcohol cooks away for the most part. It just leaves the flavor, which tends to be pretty good."

[Ironmonger]

Cast Iron decides to go back to the Inn porch before he gets himself into trouble. The motors in his legs keep him from stumbling or swaying as he walks. He crawls into a corner and goes to sleep.

[Tytan]

*Sip*, "That's such a good idea. I bet the guy who first thought of it was trying to get drunk and eat at the same time."

[XT Vengeance]

"I'm not so sure about that, but I'm sure somepony has thought that." Charcoal notices the mare is getting a little tipsy. "So...Clock, how old are you now, twenty one?" he asks carefully.

[Tytan]

For some reason Clock finds that funny, "*Pffft* No. Twenny-eight."

[XT Vengeance]

"Well, you look younger," he tells the mare. "I would have never guessed your age."

[Tytan]

"Aww, Tanks. Mama was dah shame way. Dad use tah say we look like sisters."

[XT Vengeance]

"Well if she looked anything like you, I'm sure she was a pretty mare," he says awkwardly. He turns back to the food quickly. "Um...I think it is done," he says, pulling the pan off of the fire. "I done have any plates...but I...I don't mind sharing." Charcoal reaches back to his bags and pulls a small fork and knife from it.

[Tytan]

"She musta been. 'S how she made'er money when she's my age.

I don' mind sharin' if you don'."

[XT Vengeance]

"I'll let you have the first bite," he says, cutting off a small piece of the steak. He stabs it with a fork and offers the fork to the inebriated mare.
