Hello. Let's get to the point!
I go by the name Randombuttons, or RBS for short. I have a very mundane reason for registering, which is the fanfiction Project Horizons. More specifically, I have a hard time accepting some of the decisions in the latest chapters and I felt whining about it would make it all better entering a discussion and hearing others' reasonings would help me see the happenings and chocies in a different light, or at least learn whether I'm the only one troubled by them. I believe this forum is a fine place to start, threads derailed to the Moon or not.

Ok so, i'll give you a rundown on whats goin on here, this site used to be a semi active pony site, and now... well you're in the right place. Pretty much the only activity left is Project Horizons.

But you know, if feel like not being one of those PH people, then I'm trying to be more active in the chatbox, and i always like to respond to new threads, along with Sky up there. Also if you would like we have a skype group we are pretty active in, its not big but the people are sensible and its fun.

So yeah, welcome and such! This place is pretty cool I guess.

(Please know, I have nothing against the PH people or fanfiction)

I do so gladly. Of course, my forementioned concerns don't really fit into the flow of the single current PH topic. I wish it were easier, with one site unifying everyone involved and interested in the story. (Insert Unity joke here.) That'd way I'd know I'm at the right place.
Most of you seem to not live in European time zones, that's also a little bit of a concern in the long run, if I planned for that. Really, for now, I'd be satisfied with having some satisfying conversations with fellow readers.

For explanation of how they came here? I don't really know for sure. But from what i know, back when there was some crazy overload of comments on EQD there was a search for a new place, and a user here (camobadger, known as lyra back then, is now prett much our head admin) recommended they come here, at least this is what i heard. So a lot of them came here, and that caused a large surge of new members (our total beforehand was around 74, then we jumped in one day to 150) and it sadly kind of killed the small bit of non-ph activity we had, while at the same time rejuvinating the community, which mostly existed in the chatbox.

So that's your brief, possible not all correct history of cloudsville. There is the main thread for PH discussion or you can just make another one in the FanFiction board and i'm sure many will respond for you.

And for the Skype group, we don't actually do calls very often, its just a small chat group.

I might try opening a new thread, although the tradition seems to dictate to only use one thread. I'll make up my mind. Thanks!

Tradition Shtradition. I am a moderator and I say it's ok, we don't have any rules here about "official" threads, so just don't spam and be annoying and it'll be fine. If no one responds due to Tradition then whatever lol.

"Not be annoying", gotta keep that one in mind! I expect my opinion to be taken on and argued, but that's the way problems are resolved. The worse case scenario is not receiveing any answers.
