Having the revolver in her mouth, Shayle mumbled "Shunds gu oo ee" rather than 'sounds good to me' like she wanted, but hoped War would understand what she'd been trying to say.

She turned to Red, and tried to smile a 'thank you' rather than sound ridiculous again before making her way to the trailer door.

((When I was in elementary school instead of adding onto the school they just used trailers for classrooms. Not sure if it makes sense here it's just how I grew up. I doubt there's a new teacher for every year, but War can't teach every kid at the same time.))

A couple hours later Whisper wakes up next to Terra and he quietly gets out of bed, he gives her nuzzle and quick kiss on the forehead and whispers
"I'll be back soon."
He walks out and goes to the clinic.
"Hey Saltine, the Follower's rep show up yet?"
As he walks past, there are several fresh claw marks running down his side and a bite mark on his ear.

((This should be weird to Saltine since he always goes to work in his armor and with his weapons. Just so you know, Oh and you can have either Iffin or Saltine notice the scratches, it doesn't really matter who.))

*Does a double take* Ya know, I'm not even going to ask. And no, I don't think she has.

He looks at Saltine slightly confused
"Huh? Ask about what?"
He notices the claw marks and blushes
"Ooops, heh. I think I'll go find my coat."
He quickly darts off into one to examination rooms to grab his lab coat.

Yea, that's probably be a good idea. And you might want to do something about your ear.

You're welcome. Again I'm sorry. *She opened the trailer door and walked to the schoolhouse. The schoolhouse only had three rooms, the main room which had fifteen desks arranged in three neat rows of five, a bathroom and a small room off to the side marked "storage."*

*Curious Red reaches her hoof into the desk only to pull it out immediately Radroach still latched onto it.*

OW *She smashed her hoof onto the desk killing the roach knocking the desk next to it over in the process. The desk clatters to the ground another roach skittering out of it, setting it's antennae on Shayle it lunges*

"Oh, come on. The ear can't be that noticeable."
He slips on the Followers lab coat .

Thankfully, the revolver was already ready to go and held in Shayle's muzzle from after speaking with War, and it took little effort to take aim and fire on the roach. Her first shot missed, giving the bug time to bite her leg.

A muffled groan escaped Shayle as its jaws bit into her leg, but it didn't stop her from re-aiming and firing a second and third shot, both tearing into the roach's back and killing it.

Once the dead bug released her, Shayle groaned again, but quickly began looking for more of the infestation.

*She looks at the wound on her hoof it was nothing serious, but it still hurt.*

I think alot of them are in the desks. *She points at the large metal desk sitting in front of the chalkboard.* Probably a few in there. I'll kick over the desks, run back and you shoot. Got it?

Shayle nodded slowly in response and pointed her revolver at the desk, ready to shoot anything that came scurrying out after Red.

*She walks over to the desks and lines herself up to knock over two, She lifted her back hooves and kicked the desks just hard enough to knock them over, she wanted to avoid busting all the desks. She kicked out knocking the desks over.*

*She ran back over to Shayle three radroaches skittering after her, when she reached her she turned around preparing to stomp on any that got too close.*

Actually, it is. Still, I wouldn't say its an all-bad look for you.

Once the roaches were in sight, Shayle opened fire, putting as many rounds as she needed into each until they stopped. Unfortunately, this was the point where she realized she forgot to reload beforehand, and suddenly found the revolver without any bullets after only 4 shots. The zebra mumbled a soft swear to herself before twisting the gun around in her hooves and trying to reload, completely forgetting that there were roaches racing toward them as her mind zeroed in on the revolver being her best defense.

Whisper looks in a mirror and smirks
"Ya, know, I think ya gotta point. And if anyone asks I can always come up with somethin'."
He walks back into the store room and gets the supplies ready.
"I take it, it hasn't been too busy?"

((Just a quick question, how do you get the grey text. I wanted to change Artemis' color to that.))

No, not really. Iffin was the only one who came in last night. I gave Runner a quick check just to make sure he was fine, but he didn't seem to have any injuries.

*She raises her front hooves high smashing the remaining roaches. She looks over at Shayle who seemed to be completely focused on her revolver.* Shayle are you okay?

After finally placing one round in each of the 6 holes, Shayle spun the revolving chamber back into the revolver and smiled with success before turning up to see Red staring down at her. "Oh, um...yeah, sorry. I ran out of ammo."

The zebra took the revolver back in her mouth and started looking around the room, mumbling a slurred version of 'where next?' around the handle.

Whisper sighs and looks down
"Right."
He walks back into the lobby
"Well, if she shows up tell her I'll be with her shortly."
He walks over to Iffin's room and knocks on the door.
"H-hey, sweetie, ya mind if I come in?"

Well I guess we'll just keep checking the desks until we're done.

*The pair repeat the process a few times until finally the sound of the desks being knocked over and the gunshots startled the remaining roaches. Six emerged from the three remaining desks while ten more dropped from under the large desk in the front.*

*Once again Red ran back to Shayle preparing to stomp any that got past her revolver. Not able to see the group until now she breathed a little heavy looking down at her hoof there was still a little residual pain.* This is probably going to hurt.

Whisper walks in and sees Runner
Hey, ya mind leavin'? I'd like ta talk ta my daughter."
He waits for Runner to leave and once the door the closes he looks at Iffin
"Sorry 'bout last night. I'm sure yer mother explained everythin' already. But still. I...It's just really hard for me ta see this , I know yer an adult now, but I still see the little girl that I met in Tenpony, one that need someone ta take care of her and keep her safe. And I'm always gonna. I also thought ya trusted us, so when ya hid it from us... It hurt, a lot. I just... I'm sorry."

((No idea if Runner is the room, if he is I'll edit it so he can ask him to leave. This apology is rather private.))

As the swarm approached, Shayle forgot aim and began spraying shot after shot into the swarm, watching as the roaches began to explode one by one until the gun clicked on empty. Once again she spat it into her hooves and began the process of reloading.

One of the roaches bit into her front leg, causing her to drop the revolver to the ground and yelp in pain. Rather than try to pick up the revolver, the zebra kicked out at the offending roach, crushing its legs and eventually killing it after several strikes.

The zebra then stood and began stepping on as many roaches as she could beside Red, already missing the ease of her revolver's killing power over that of her hooves.

((It had been a few hours, I figured he had come back onto the room.))

You're right. I'm not that little girl anymore. If anything, the smoking ruins of that bandit camp proves it. And I hid my relationship because I was scared. Scared that you would leave me if you found out, that I'd become alone again, like I felt on Crys' back back in Henver...
But none of that means I will ever stop being your daughter.
