Ain't the first I've heard of it, but griffins are usually honor bound by contracts from what little I know. I'm heading out to help at any rate. I'm useless sitting here and I'll be damn if I leave Admiral out there without help I can trust.

((It was a flight of four...Technically I just surrendered to some which were implied on the ground. Although now that people are here could someone handle the dialogue with the ones I am with? no? okay i gots some materials here))

"i didn't, I have no idea where that griffon came from! Not one of yours?" Rum still hods his hooves in the air, "Honestly who is surrendering, me or you? Because if you are, I'll gladly accept."

The griffon steadys her rocket launcher,

"Oh come on! You know as well as i do that even in your armor the back lash of firing that thing at this range would give you internal bleeding! Not only that, [Charisma check 10/9] Looks this good are rare in the wasteland, wouldn't want to run that would you?"

"You're obviously full of yourself. Come with me, no funny shit or I shove a grenade up your ass."

"Oh! Reminds me of that onetime out in Caledonia... good times."

Is somebody going to save the yellow turkey?

Rum, being led at grenade point is quickly flanked by the remaining Griffon ambush squad, they have hostage and know full and well what to do with one.

*Eyes Kage and holds out a hoof*
Howdy Kage, Name's Guard. Your Talon merc right? mind if I ask why your here? I don't think anypony here has pissed anyone other then the Enclave off.

*has finally made it to where Admiral and Kage are at, eyeing Kage he turns his attention to the other griffins*

I was told to fly in this direction, look for the biggest group of ragtag rejects, and help them. From what I've seen, you can really use the help.

*Grabs Guards rifle, aims it, and fires a shot into the back of the Rocket launcher griffin.*

While I appreciate the help an all but if ya' wouldn't mind don't touch my rifle again. It was gift and rather not risk it gettin' takin' no offense or nothin' just gotta be careful.
*Looks at Kage*
Well it's nice to see a fellow merc actually sent to help us out for once.
*Shoots rifle at the remaining griffin*

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

Rum feels wet spatter along his back, its warm. His pupils contract to pinpricks only for a moment when he notices the pin missing from the grenade. It tumbles out of the Griffon's claw and a sharp ping fills the air as the primer releases.

One of the mercs shouts "GRENADE!"

They scatter, Rum tucks his wings in flees for cover as fast as he can, the seconds counting in his head. 4.5 seconds and the ball of the grenade hits the ground and rolls Rum's direction, 3.4 seconds and rum falls flat on a rock [Luck Failure] He skids and rolls head over heels, .7 seconds and he regains his awareness and curls up, 0 the grenade goes off.

[Katarn]

*looks at Kage* Great, now we have group of pissed-off chickens, with one of ours as hostage and we have one show-off chicken on our side, great!
*walks in direction, where Admiral went*
Unless you guys have a plan, I'll go and try to rescue Admiral....
*loads Dragon breath shells in shotgun and reloads revolver* Anypony want some fried chicken? *glares at Kage*

*Runs to Admiral and gets out health potions*
Admiral? Admiral! Can you here me?!
*Takes out magical bandages*

*Jumps between Guard and Admiral and group of griffins. Pulls out his revolver*

*Start's firing*

So much negotiations. Probably would have been a boring conversation anyways.
*turns back to the others*
Now, Kage was it? Told to fly out here and help A group out and figured it was us.
*starts to make his way back to base*
Know that I don't trust ya, but you're help is welcome because we have trouble comin'. Now let's head back so we don't get caught out here...

*time stops for him as the grenades go off*

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

The concussive force of the grenade shocks him first, then the fringe of what ground shrapnel catches him, his ears ring, his back stings, the world blurs. He swears only to fail hearing his own cursing.

He Shakes his head and winces in pain. Rolls onto his hooves and staggers back to wherver he came from. were was he going? The world begins to focus and his hearing begins to clear. Then the head of another griffon merc rolls into view, neck shot with a big bullet.

Wait, I counted four griffins. Took two out in flight, misted one's head, and guard shot the fourth. Where'd the other ones come from?

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

*Grenade turns out to be pulse grenade[luck check/pass]*

((Invalid, luck of Four, just had a luck failure and a professional merc who handles explosives would not use a pulse type grenade to threaten don't do that I have an Endurance of Eight, I may be crippled a buit but its like blackjack really grenades don't stop her, barding or no...)

Rum groans, "There was a group in ambush in the outcropping I took cover under...

*Quickly begins to bandage and cast healing spells on Admiral*
Moody, Mav, I'm gonna need Y'all's help gettin' him inside.
*Looks at Admiral and injects him with med-x*

It's no big, mysterious conspiracy. I met a gal in a poker match, one thing led to another, long story short, never bet a free contract when you're out of chips.
She gave me the mission, told me the contract's filled when you guys are safe, and then disappeared.
By coincidence, do any of you know a grey unicorn with a storm cloud for a cutie mark?

*Takes flight and dives into the group of griffins with Katana and pistol drawn.*

"I can walk..." Rum mumbles lazily, the med-x flooding his system makes everything go a bit numb.

With the other ponies ministering to him, he has a thought, the business side came out. "Be sure to grab all of their crap, it'll be useful to trade, Steel Rangers would love to have some of that heavy weapons material."

[Admiral Stoic Rum]

*Walks with Run on his back* Oh.....Great....More mysteries...*Pant* Some mare, who we don't know, sends some chicken to help us, while we were attacked by other chickens and have Enclave on our tails.

Just a normal day in Hoof! It would be weird day, if %^&#$@ NOTHING would happen in whole day!
