All I could see was the tree, the I guess fireman and the chainsaw wrapped in what looked like a blanket. The thing I thought I was missing was a speech bubble with something along the lines of "He can't hurt you anymore" inside.

I took that seriously for about a minute, then I read the headlines for some of their other stories, including:

As much as I liked it, I got to this one part in the game where I just couldn't find a way to get past for several days, so I just gave up in frustration.

Same. Worst part is I came to it again a couple years later and got past it within a few minutes. But I never had the drive to go back after I finished the level.

I don't remember where/when it was, but I remember I had just finished running away from a bunch of cops and had made my way deep inside a building. I had to do a complex pattern of jumping, wall-running, and swinging from bars to get around a corner and up an air vent. For whatever reason, I just couldn't do it.
