I think this is one of the few times I can whole heartily agree with you on something.  That video is also why I stopped using EqD, cause honestly I never liked twilight and the fact that during the off season they kept putting up videos like this and making "editorial" articles of "NO twilight MUST be your top waifu and no one is allowed to dislike her" was on the scale of 1 to 10 of annoying, about a seven.

Well, to be honest, that's how the entire goddamn fandom is about Fluttershy. If you can't deal with irrational favoritism, it's gonna be hard.

Oh, we're quite aware of pragmatiquette. Absolutely nobody's a POG while we're in the field with anyone but Infantry, and no one who you're going to be working with is a POG while they're in the room. Whilst we're in Basic (and not actual Infantrymen until we turn blue) nobody's a POG while any Sergeants/Drill Sergeants are in the room. I've added the rule of "no man or woman who's sufficiently cute is a POG until after you've popped smoke the morning after.", but that's just me.

My brain makes oxytocin just fine on its own, cb5, or, well, it probably does. In any case I don't think they're making it available for prescription medication just yet, apart from inducing labor or whatever (and I don't think that counts as prescription - I don't know, I'm not a doctor). Anyway, the point is I got some snuggles today and it was very nice and I'm happy!

Anyway, I picked the avatar because I liked Fluttershy's face in it and thought it matched up well with an ominous and ecstatic pronouncement of IT BEGINS. (IIRC in the comic she's on Xanax or something?)

Yeah... that isn't a knife through her neck. She has the scooter collapsed and balanced on her back and those are the handlebars.
In the panel in question, she's just topped a hill and is looking out over it with that grin. The panel afterward she has put the scooter down and is racing down the hill on it yelling "Weee!", IIRC.

Oh, well, huh, The picture always had this creepy quality to it now it's gone. Oh well. Yeah, I don't follow that blog. Can't remember why the arts pretty but I had a reason. Maybe it didn't have an easy way to read it from the begining.

Can also say the whole "you HAVE to" is very familiar to how I'm met by some in the porn community. Everyone HAS to like the norm, no exception.And none is allowed to dislike it, as it means you hate porn as a whole in all it's forms. There's no way to like any alternatives or anything else at all unless you worship the stereotypes.

(heroes) Actually, part of superman was technically ruined by the movie, least the "essence" of it. Secondly: Aquaman is actually not such a limp, steroid dick he's shown as in a lot of media. He can more or less leap buildings, hurl trucks and take rockets to the face. Plus, he's beaten large parts of Chutulu's army single handed. (granted, was in just ice league, so questionable how canon that is xD) So he's not worthless out of sea. As shown in Flashpoint. Because he has "trident of, hey, I was created by being chucked full of SO much of earth's magic it's almost went extinct, so that I could be used to hand Chutulu's ass to him". (or some relevant thing of him)

The reason why Superman is a mary sue is that he has no weaknesses.  The only real weakness he has is when the writers want to emphasis the fight or the conflict.  As someone pointed out superman got shot in the chest with kryptonite and survived.


Also Katt, I just want to say something about porn.  You're never going to get rid of the norms in porn, cause even in eastern countries where individuals who fall outside of gender norms and that are considered religiously semi-divine and they still have sex norms and such.  No that's not a exaggeration.  It's why you never hear about sexism or homophobia or what have you in eastern countries is that part of eastern religion, even though atheism is on the rise, is that mythology wise Dharmakaya and other "deities"(I use that word cause it's easier for people not familiar with Buddhism to understand) are often portrayed as neither male or female or having gender norms of any sort.  Now this may be a dumb question, but if cultures where people outside the gender norm are considered semi-divine still have norms to them then what are the chances of porn norms ever going away?

Hypothetically, just maybe the reason why norms in porn exist isn't cause, "ermagod sexism", but rather cause people like sex and have fetishes?  Fetishes are fundamentally illogical to them though.  Trying to make sense of fetishes is a futile effort cause trying to logically break down something that has no logic to it is utterly pointless.  I know this is pushing the pg-13 rating, but I'm going to use an example of a illogical thing towards sex.  I know it's not related to norms in porn, but I like monster women.  Does how I like this make sense?  No.  Are monster women real?  No.  Is there any logical reasoning to it?  No.  Do I ever think they will be real?  No.

What's my point you ask?  Maybe hypothetically porn norms don't exist cause of "ermagod sexism", but rather just cause people have a fetish towards something sexuality wise?  Also that even if you moved to eastern countries you're still going to find the same exact porn norms cause people like sex.  Real talk, the ONLY way you would ever be able to get rid of porn norms would be is if you chemically castrated EVERY last man, woman and child on the planet cause the only way to get rid of porn norms would be to remove any possibility of people when they reach adulthood of having a sex drive. That is literally the only way it would ever be accomplished, cause so long as people as adults have a sex drive then porn will exist and so long as porn exists there will be porn norms.
