"It's, uh... not easy to explain."

"Yeah," He looks at the Clocks, "I wouldn't expect it to be."

[Tytan]

"Perhaps I can be of assistance," Captain said from behind Isaac and Viktor.

[Scyto Harmony]

"Please don't sneak up behind me," he grumbles, turning to the Captain, "I get stab-y when I'm startled."

[Tytan]

"You would not be the first, nor would you be the last, to attempt it. But I believe you were curious about miss Apparatus' situation."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Yes, I am. Who wouldn't?" He snarks, "But if you know I'd love to hear it."

[Tytan]

Captain stepped into the room, "I'm not really surprised Miss Clock figured it out first. She seems the curious sort. Contrary to what you may believe time is not a line. A three dimensional representation of it would look like a tree with an infinite number of branches. Some branches are thicker and others are thinner. The thickness is determined by how likely that time stream is. She and her other selves, all of which I've met, knew that it was unlikely that they'd find one another. They also knew that probability is malleable here. They sought one another out, and thanks to the Infinity they found each other."

[Scyto Harmony]

"... Okay." He says, after thinking about it for a while, "So no regards for the laws of the physical universe or time, and you can find anything you want? Who made this place, and why?"

[Tytan]

"To answer your questions in the order you asked: correct, yes, classified, and to provide a rest place for the weary."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Classified? Under who's orders?"

[Tytan]

"That is also classified."

[Scyto Harmony]

"I see." He frowns.


(( I imagine the find whatever you're looking for system won't work in the scenario Isaac snoops around to investigate? ))

((It might, it might not.))

"All materials, personnel, and information pertaining to Project Infinity were classified beyond top secret. Due to the temporal qualities of Infinity it could never be known who or what was involved in its creation. There are only two complete records in all of existence. Infinity erased hers, and the other belongs to me."

[Scyto Harmony]

"And you are...?"

[Tytan]

"The Captain, it's a pleasure to meet you."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Is that a title, or a name? Because that's a dreadful name."

[Tytan]

"Does it matter? If it's a title it designates me as the one in charge, or if it were my name it differentiates myself from others. How much you like it doesn't matter."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Bah," He waves his claw dismissively, "I can't be bothered to argue with you." He turns back to the Clocks, "So, uh, Vik here said he knows you."

[Tytan]

"Well, uh, yeah. For a few years now. I met him just outsi-"

"Didja fuck'im?" Clock asks way to loud.

[Scyto Harmony]

Isaac scoffs at the interrupting version of Clock, "Don't interrupt. It's rude." He looks back at Clock, "These versions of your are clearly much farther from the original..."

[Tytan]

"I guess so. They all lead pretty different lives as far as I can tell."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Yeah... The way the Captain put it, well... Why did you come looking for them?"

[Tytan]

"Because... Well... I was wondering what my life would have been like if I'd made different decisions. I didn't think I'd find... me."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Hm." He muses, tapping his metallic beak, "I'm really don't like this place... Knowing the different could-have-been's isn't healthy for the mind." 

[Tytan]

"Maybe... But it's better than wondering if I made all the wrong decisions."

[Scyto Harmony]

"Is it? And what if you had made all the wrong decisions? How would you continue to go through life knowing that? Clockwork, please, I ask you not to abuse this places power any further..." Isaac looks at the room itself, grudgingly.

[Tytan]

"Then I can start making the right ones. What would you prefer I do with anything withing hoof's reach. Find a room full of daisys and gorge myself? A room full of porn? If I'm not supposed to find them why did I?"

[Scyto Harmony]

"I don't know!" he groans, throwing a claw up in exasperation, "Why does anything in this place? All I know is this place is as dangerous as it is mystical, and I don't want you to get hurt."
