Ugh, those times when you don't know if you're the only one who gets what the teacher is talking about, or if everybody else just doesn't care enough to attempt to get it. Don't know about ya'll, but those awkward silences when a professor ask something and nobody says anything are some of the worse for me. Especially if you know the answer but don't speak up because A. the teacher called somebody else, and B. you're so damn tired to be the only one to say something.

Finally managed to solve the problem that made it impossible for me to play Mass Effect on the PC.

I can't believe the game (acquired through steam) wasn't up-to-date as far as patches were concerned.

Though the patch itself didn't solve the issue (the game wouldn't launch, the OS saying "Mass Effect has crashed" when double-clicking MassEffect.exe). I had to tell the executable to run in compatibility mode (XP Service Pack 3).


I had forgotten how shitty the graphism of ME1 were, compared to more recent games. Or maybe it's the anisotropic filtering ? The textures look completely fucked and jagged.

I liked it myself. In my opinion, one of the best movies of this year. Superior in quality to pacific Rim I'd say (though a number of people would gloat that this isn't hard to achieve...).
