"Not just that. Solving problems. Hell, I guess I even miss the team work more then I care to admit. My squad was made up of talented ponies. I really miss them sometimes."

"I was embarrassed."

[Tytan]

"Can't blame you. My only frame of reference is my Dads team. Kind of dysfunctional, but in a functional way."

[Katarn]

"I see...I'm not jealous..or angry..you're with me now and from what I see, you want to be for long, than just to have some fun....can you tell me more about..other mare?"

"Do you remember when I told you about my time in the hospital? About the nurse who was my friend?"

((Well, I recommend it. It's 3 hours long, so it's a butt number. Still good movie.))

"Yeah, I remember that."

[Tytan]

"Her...

Her name was Crescent."

[Katarn]

"And what happened...why you've said her name 'was' Crescent?"

[Tytan]

"She... disappeared."

[XT Vengeance]

"Yeah, we didn't really get along at first. But you would be surprised at the kind of friendships that can form in the situations we were put in." Lug Nut shudders, remembering a particular incident.

[Katarn]

"How is that even possible? From what I know it's not like you have many places to go on the moon..unless.." Rogue looks at Star. "Do you think your uncle took her?"

[Tytan]

"Situations? I doubt they were anything like the 'situations' my Dad and his team were in, but color me interested."

[Tytan]

"..."

[Katarn]

"I'm sorry..."

[Tytan]

"We didn't know each other very well. We only... did it once. It's just... she felt special at the time."

[XT Vengeance]

"Heh, there was one time that the lead vehicle in our convoy broke down while crossing a bridge. We had to run to the damn thing, and try getting it repaired. The stripes must have noticed, because about thirty minutes into the repairs, the convoy was attacked."

"It took almost an hour after enemy contact to get the damn thing running again. All because the stupid driver had been grinding the gears."

[Katarn]

"Still, sorry for what I've said..maybe..maybe she was just transferred some place else? You've said your city was big and went deep in the moon."

[Tytan]

*Pfft* "Nice... The first big challenge my Dad came up against was when he was hired to collect the plans for some sort of digging machine. When they got there the building was shut tight. The emergency shutters on windows were closed and the doors blocked. They had to force the doors open. They were blocked with the bones of the prior occupants. As they searched the building they felt like they were being followed the entire time. They found some documents saying that they'd built a working prototype of the machine... and it punched straight through into Tartarus. They sealed the hole, but something got out. They were being hunted. They didn't know by what. They never got a clear look at them. All they knew was they hated light. They escaped by using the lights on their pipbucks as shields. My Dad was scared of the dark for years."

[Tytan]

"... Maybe."

[Katarn]

"See, be optimistic. Everything would be fine."

[Tytan]

"She was the nicest person I ever knew besides Mother... until I met you."

[Katarn]

"Thanks. You're nice too...and cute..and oblivious some times...and hot..all the times." Grin.

Dark smirks, "How did you manage to stay single?"

[Katarn]

Flaps with wings and lights up horn. "Those who don't know me well try to stay away from 'that freaking alicorn'."
