Her ears perked at Roxie's growl and she silently drew her spear her eyes darting from left to right.

"Oh, trust me, Azure. The chances of that happening are low. Like, really low. Risk was certainly...something else."

Boomy spins up his barrels

Two Radscorpians come from the right

Roxie barks and Boomy starts to shoot at them

Her expression drops. "What?... am... Am I?" She put her face in her hooves. "Oh no."

*Puts a comforting hoof on Red's shoulder* No, you're not. She was already well along with you by then. You were one of the only things that helped her pull through after Last died.

While Roxie and Boomy hold the radscorpions attention she sneaks off to the side. Once she's sure they have no interest in her she launches an attack from behind.

Roxie manages to dodge one of the stingers

Boomy continues to shoot at the scorpions

"Thank pip." She said as she wiped her eyes. "I'm not sure how I would have handled that."

"Still I had no idea mom had gone through that." She was a little afraid to ask now. "What happened next?"

She swung her spear at the scorpion nearest to Roxie detaching the stinger but narrowly avoiding the cyber dog's face as she does so.

Roxie lets out a low growl.

Boomy finishes off the one closest to Roxie, then turns his attention to the second one.

[Guest]

"Calm down." She spat. "I wasn't going to miss." she turned her attention to the final scorpion, but decides against attacking it after seeing the firepower boomy was pouring on. Instead she grabs the poison gland and places it in her pack.

((Robo, did you find out if you were available for H4 this weekend?))

We found her. Turns out she was being held right below where we were staying... *Shudders* What that... that stallion had did was so horrible, she couldn't even stand the sight of another one, much less being close to even your father... So I did my best, just like with Buckler and Alex's mom.

After a minute, the second scorpion dies.

Boomy barks happily.

Roxie waits for Kifa to grab the gland.

"Mom never acted like anything was wrong. I just can't..." She sighed. "Was there anything else?"

She puts the bullet riddled gland into her pack. "I should handle the scorpions."

[Guest]

Roxie shrugs sniffs the ground, the lifts a paw and points to the left. She gives Kifa a look that says 'It's right there.'

((I'm confused. Is Roxie telling her she picked up the wrong thing?))

((Guard, Clock is nice and vulnerable in the OOC.))

((No, Roxie is saying the other scorpions are in the direction she pointed.))

She started to growl this was taking too long. As a predator she could be patient, but these were radscorpions. They should be done by now.

She tapped her chin in thought before turning back to Roxie. "Can you cause a distraction... without getting killed?"

Roxie rolls her eyes, walks a little up the road and lets out a loud bark.

Scorpions begin to stir and come after Roxie.

She starts to kite them around,

Boomy shoots at them to keep their interest.

Nothing as bad as that, no. And only a couple other times where it got bad for her... I was able to pull her through both times.
