"Willow's... was, a genius when it came to cures from plants on those sorts of things... he could've... just made a... potion or something!" She says, exasperatedly, "I..." She sinks lower in her seat, "I didn't even get to say goodbye to them..."

Indeed, the old house is empty, and starting to get dusty. With no one to look after the house, in the short month they had been gone it had already decayed.

But oddly, there are things that weren't there since the last time Shayle was. The kitchen, with dirty dishes littering the counters now growing mold, had a large square box in the middle of it, where the table was, with a padlock on the opening.

"She's almost outta the woods, maybe so physical therapy. I'll see what I can do ta speed that up."He sighs"Mind if I ask what happened? 'Cause it looks like she got crushed."

Shayle trotted over to the peculiar box, looking it over with a confused expression. She had never seen it before, and without a key had no way to open it.

"Well that depends," He says, looking at Felix, "I know that we decided the best thing to do would to live at the manor with Shayle, but on the off chance that doesn't work out, how big of a place do you want to live in?"

As she approaches, the lock looks at her, and unbuckles itself and falls to the floor.

*nods* That's what happened. We were attacked by this...monster...before we finally killed it, it got a grip on Alex and started to crush her...*sits down*...I-I tried to save her, but I couldn't...

"Just for the two of us, I don't think we'd need much," Felix pointed out with a little grin. "Plus it would keep us closer together in a smaller place."

Shayle almost jumped out of her skin as the locked stared at her and popped open, barely able to calm herself enough to step any closer. After several deep breaths, the mare cautiously peeked inside.
