After a while, sitting near fire.
"Do you think we're dry enough to continue lesson, you wanted to give me?"

"My suit's still wet, but I don't need it to teach."

"Okay then..back to river? I promise, I won't do that again." Grin.

Smiles back, "Sure."

They both walk to the river. "So..what I should do? Last time you've tried explain it to me, I only get something about halo and scarf."

"I must have been slurring my words rather badly."

[Katarn]

"Yup."

[Tytan]

"Well, uh... Picture a sphere thinner than glass." Darks horn starts to glow, but nothing seems to be happening. "Then you pour raw magic into the sphere. This 'excites' the air inside and turns it into plasma." Her horn glows slightly brighter, the ball fills with baleful green energy. "And then you throw it like you'd throw a rock, but it travels in a straight bath, so you can't just lob it." The ball of energy flings itself into the river, there's a plume of steam and lots of hissing.

Everyone ready to hunt?

[Katarn]

"Geez, it's so easy, when you do it..."
"Okay...sphere..thinner than a glass.." Rogue closes her eyes and tries to image it. "Put raw magic inside it..." her horn glows...but nothing happens.
"Damn..." tries again.

[Tytan]

"Imagining isn't enough, you have to will it to exist. Don't think it'll happen, know it'll happen."

Closes her eyes and images...no..'sees' ball filling up with magic, when she about to throw it, she opens her eyes...to see nothing.
"Gah! It's hard..it's not like you could just read some book for kindergarten and be able cast light spells and teleport...."

"Perhaps you need... motivation." While she was speaking Dark quietly sidled up beside her and with the last word she pulls Rogue in for a deep kiss.

Lug Nut sits next to Trail, readying Serenity for hunting.

*Nods* Red's coming, but I don't think anyone else is. To said you knew where some seals were, right?

Kissed back. "Well...since you've put it that way...I'll try my best."
Rogue closed her eyes and concentrated on casting spell. And again nothing...
Sigh. "You're not first, who tried to teach me some spells..grandpa tried to teach me teleport, in school tried some spells too, like light spell...they never succeed. Fuck, I hate it! I'll never be able to cast anything besides levitation and those spells, I could 'copy'." Snort. "Last try!"
She closes her eyes, trying to image sphere of energy...and..small ball of lightning appears on top of her horn, slowly gaining size. Rogue opens her eyes, when ball of lightning starts flying towards water. ((Size of tennis ball, to be precise.)) "Oh, hors--" Rogue didn't finish, as ball of lightning reached water and exploded, blast wave hit Rogue and send her flying at Star.

[Orm]

"Pigs. Thought I might have heard some seals once though.
But I think those might be further away."

[Aonee]

Cool, I'll fly over and take a look. *Looks down at her talons* Uhhh, probably after my coat turns back to normal...

"Alright, I'll lead the way once everyone's ready.
I'll tell you when we get close."

Dark was momentarily excited when she saw the energy collecting at the end of Rogues horn. She was getting ready to congratulate her when the bolt hit the water and exploded, sending Rogue flying directly toward her. The impact lifted her bodily and they both landed in a heap on the ground with Rogue on top of Dark.

"Oww...you okay, Star?"
